The MSI GF65 Thin offers good gaming and general performance, due to its dedicated Nvidia RTX 3060 graphics card, making it suitable for intensive gaming and engineering tasks. However, the MSI Summit E14 Flip Evo, while slightly more expensive, provides a higher-resolution touchscreen display with better color accuracy, more storage, and additional RAM, catering to professional work that requires a high-quality display and more resource-intensive tasks. The Summit E14 Flip Evo also boasts a longer battery life, increasing its portability, and comes with a newer operating system. If gaming and high performance are priorities, the GF65 Thin is preferable, while the Summit E14 Flip Evo is more suited for business and creative professionals who value display quality, battery life, and portability. The MSI Summit E14 Flip Evo is good for general use, while the MSI GF65 Thin is only fair.
The MSI Summit E14 Flip Evo outperforms the MSI GF65 Thin in general use due to its superior processor, double the RAM, and higher resolution touchscreen display, which contribute to better performance and screen quality. It also offers greater portability with a lighter frame and longer battery life, at the cost of being more expensive, while the MSI GF65 Thin, though less suited for demanding tasks due to lesser RAM and a lower resolution screen, could still be appealing for its gaming capability thanks to its dedicated graphics card.

The MSI Summit E14 Flip Evo has a better screen than the MSI GF65 Thin for general use, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, the MSI Summit E14 Flip Evo's higher resolution and brighter screen result in sharper images and a more vibrant display, while the MSI GF65 Thin's duller screen may make everyday tasks less visually enjoyable. In engineering and design, the Summit E14 Flip Evo's wider color coverage ensures more accurate color representation, crucial for detailed work, whereas the GF65 Thin's limited color range could lead to less precise color-critical work. In the context of gaming and 3D applications, the lower refresh rate of both laptops' displays may not provide as smooth an experience as gaming-dedicated laptops with higher refresh rates, with the GF65 Thin's screen quality seen as less adequate due to potentially lesser resolution and subpar panel quality compared to the Summit E14.

The MSI GF65 Thin and MSI Summit E14 Flip Evo are both only fair for gaming and AI.
The MSI GF65 Thin is suitable for gaming and 3D applications primarily due to its Nvidia RTX 3060 GPU and high screen refresh rate of 144Hz, providing smooth visuals and good gaming performance. In contrast, the MSI Summit E14 Flip Evo also handles gaming and 3D tasks fairly well, even though its integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics aren't as powerful as a dedicated GPU, and its screen refresh rate is lower at 60Hz, which may result in less fluid motion during fast-paced games.

How the MSI GF65 Thin and the MSI Summit E14 Flip Evo compare to other laptops
"The MSI GF65 Thin offers a GeForce RTX 3060 on a budget. The MSI GF65 is a relatively inexpensive RTX 3060 laptop and, perhaps not coincidentally, it also comes with a slower-than-average RTX 3060 GPU. Other laptops we've tested thus far with the same GPU are about 10 to 15 percent faster. CPU performance is also slightly slower than average unless if users decide to enable Cooler Boost mode. Colors, black-white response times, Thunderbolt, and DisplayPort are either average or completely omitted. Gamers who want to maximize performance-per-dollar without sacrificing RAM or SSD upgradeability will find the lightweight MSI GF65 attractive."
"The MSI Summit E14 Flip convertible review: a legit alternative to HP, Dell or Lenovo. Instead of taking the 13-inch Summit E13 Flip and simply enlarging it for a 14-inch form factor, the Summit E14 Flip is the full chassis redesign we've been looking for. It loses some of the golden trims of its smaller sibling, but the gains in rigidity and build quality are arguably worth it especially from a professional standpoint where reliability takes priority. It doesn't quite feel as strong as the HP Spectre just yet, but it's certainly getting close."
