The MSI GF65 Thin is significantly less expensive and lighter than the MSI Stealth GS66, making it more portable and budget-friendly. In contrast, the MSI Stealth GS66 has a more powerful processor and better graphics card, more RAM, and a much higher refresh rate display, but comes at a premium price and with a slightly heavier build. The battery capacity is also notably better on the Stealth GS66. For intensive gaming, 3D rendering, or more demanding engineering tasks, and where the budget allows, the Stealth GS66 would be the superior choice. Give Feedback

The MSI Stealth GS66 has a better screen than the MSI GF65 Thin for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The MSI GF65 Thin has a display that offers adequate resolution and brightness for day-to-day tasks and light engineering work, but its limited color gamut may not meet the precise color requirements for professional design applications. The MSI Stealth GS66 boasts a higher quality display with better color accuracy and a wider range of colors, benefiting engineers and designers who need to see their work accurately represented. However, both laptops fall short for gaming and 3D purposes because they lack the high refresh rates required for smooth motion, although resolution and screen type are satisfactory.

"The MSI GF65 Thin offers a GeForce RTX 3060 on a budget. The MSI GF65 is a relatively inexpensive RTX 3060 laptop and, perhaps not coincidentally, it also comes with a slower-than-average RTX 3060 GPU. Other laptops we've tested thus far with the same GPU are about 10 to 15 percent faster. CPU performance is also slightly slower than average unless if users decide to enable Cooler Boost mode. Colors, black-white response times, Thunderbolt, and DisplayPort are either average or completely omitted. Gamers who want to maximize performance-per-dollar without sacrificing RAM or SSD upgradeability will find the lightweight MSI GF65 attractive."
"The MSI Stealth GS66 is powerful enough for QHD. The Core i7-12700H and the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti found in the 12UGS model that we tested run all modern games smoothly in the native QHD resolution. The 15-inch display is very fast with its 240 Hz refresh rate, and it also offers a great color space (almost 100% DCI-P3) on top of that, which should please gamers as well as content creators, although we would have still wished for a higher brightness. Case, input devices, and connectivity (Thunderbolt 4) are at a good level. However, among other things, the GS66 loses points due to the high temperature development in 3D mode and its poor webcam."
