The MSI GE66 Raider offers high-end performance with a top-tier processor and graphics card, which makes it ideal for intensive gaming, 3D modeling, and engineering tasks, but it comes at a higher cost and is less portable due to its weight. On the other hand, the MSI Stealth GS77 is slightly less expensive and provides good performance for similar tasks, though not as powerful, but it has a larger screen, which may be preferred for multitasking and viewing details, while being more portable despite its larger size due to thinner design. Both laptops have excellent build quality and ample storage. Ultimately, if top performance is your priority and budget allows, the GE66 Raider is the better choice, but for a balance between performance and portability with a larger screen, the Stealth GS77 is a strong contender. The MSI GE66 Raider is very good for gaming and AI, while the MSI Stealth GS77 is good.
The MSI GE66 Raider boasts a top-tier Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti GPU and a 120Hz screen refresh rate, making it excellent for immersive gaming and 3D applications with high detail and fluid motion. Meanwhile, the MSI Stealth GS77, while still very good for gaming with its Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti GPU, offers a higher 240Hz refresh rate which is ideal for fast-paced gaming, but the lower GPU tier compared to the Raider may slightly limit performance in very demanding tasks. Both machines have powerful CPUs and high-quality displays, but the Raider's superior GPU gives it an edge in graphically intensive scenarios.

The MSI GE66 Raider has a better screen than the MSI Stealth GS77 for general use, engineering and design, and software development, while the MSI Stealth GS77 has a better screen for gaming and AI.
For general use, both the MSI GE66 Raider and MSI Stealth GS77 boast high-resolution displays with excellent brightness and panel quality, ensuring crisp, clear visuals for everyday tasks and media viewing. For engineering and design, these laptops' displays cover a wide color gamut, showcasing accurate colors necessary for professional content creation and precise color work. However, for gaming and 3D applications, the lower refresh rates on these screens may not provide the smoothest experience that gamers typically seek, especially in fast-paced scenarios where higher refresh rates can give a competitive edge.

How the MSI GE66 Raider and the MSI Stealth GS77 compare to other laptops
"The MSI Raider GE66 12UHS notebook passes with flying colors. The GE66 is a high-end notebook with strong performance. The keyboard and trackpad are still very good and score well with precise inputs as well as high build quality. Thanks to a new liquid metal cooling solution, the Intel Core i9 12900HK brings a performance increase of around 50 percent over the predecessor's Intel Core i9 10980HK. The installed graphics card in our device delivers up to 30 percent higher frame rates than the RTX 2070 Super in the MSI GE66 10SFS."
"The MSI Stealth GS77 is better than the GS76... mostly. The GS77 is a few steps forward and a few steps back from the GS76. Improvements are numerous including the stronger and more rigid skeleton, higher resolution webcam, larger clickpad, easier serviceability, relatively similar battery runtimes, newer display options, and higher performance at about the same TDP and TGP levels as before. CPU performance is better than expected even when compared to other laptops with Core i7 or Core i9 processors. The newer model feels more substantial than the outgoing one for higher quality impressions as well."
