Choosing between the MSI Cyborg 15 and the MSI Stealth GS77 depends on your needs and budget. The Cyborg 15 is less expensive and offers solid general performance, good for gaming with its higher refresh rate display and hardware features such as ray tracing. However, its battery life and general use capabilities are modest compared to the Stealth GS77. On the other hand, the Stealth GS77, while more expensive, provides better performance for engineering and 3D/machine learning tasks with more RAM and a more powerful processor. It also has a higher resolution and better quality display, but is heavier making it less portable. If you value premium features and higher performance for professional tasks, the Stealth GS77 fits the bill, whereas if you're looking for a gaming-focused laptop at a lower price, the Cyborg 15 is worth considering. The MSI Stealth GS77 has a better screen than the MSI Cyborg 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The MSI Cyborg 15's screen has enough resolution and brightness for daily tasks and sufficient color accuracy for casual engineering and design work, but its limited refresh rate detracts from the fluid visuals desired in gaming and sophisticated 3D applications. In contrast, the MSI Stealth GS77 offers a higher resolution and brighter display, enhancing both everyday and professional engineering experiences with better color representation across wider color gamuts, which is crucial for precision work. However, despite its superior panel, the Stealth's lower refresh rate means it still falls short for gaming and 3D endeavors where smoother motion and quicker image updates are key.

"The focus of the MSI Cyborg 15 lies on a compromise of performance, mobility, and power consumption. Due to the reduced performance settings, the CPU and GPU perform below their capabilities. Nonetheless, their computing power is still sufficient for FHD gaming at high to maximum settings even then. The power consumption, which is low for a gaming laptop, can be translated into a good battery life. Realistic values of 7 to 8 h are still possible, despite the relatively small battery capacity of 53.5 Wh. Unfortunately the USB-C port doesn't offer any support for Power Delivery, which would be a sensible feature in the case of the Cyborg."
"The MSI Stealth GS77 is better than the GS76... mostly. The GS77 is a few steps forward and a few steps back from the GS76. Improvements are numerous including the stronger and more rigid skeleton, higher resolution webcam, larger clickpad, easier serviceability, relatively similar battery runtimes, newer display options, and higher performance at about the same TDP and TGP levels as before. CPU performance is better than expected even when compared to other laptops with Core i7 or Core i9 processors. The newer model feels more substantial than the outgoing one for higher quality impressions as well."
