The MSI Cyborg 15 is less expensive and relatively more portable with decent performance for general use and some gaming, but with limited storage and memory compared to the Raider GE78. On the other hand, the MSI Raider GE78 offers superior performance for intensive tasks such as 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering, with ample storage and memory at a higher cost and less portability due to its larger size and weight. The Raider GE78 also boasts better screen quality, longer battery life, and more robust build and cooling systems but may be more than necessary for casual use. Give Feedback

The MSI Raider GE78 has a better screen than the MSI Cyborg 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, the MSI Cyborg 15's screen may not be as sharp or bright, making it less ideal for use in well-lit environments when compared to the MSI Raider GE78's higher quality display. In engineering and design, the Raider GE78's superior color gamut representation ensures more accurate and vivid color rendering, which is critical for precise visual work. However, both laptops may not suit the needs of 3D and gaming enthusiasts due to lower refresh rates that can't deliver as smooth motion as displays optimized for those activities.

"The focus of the MSI Cyborg 15 lies on a compromise of performance, mobility, and power consumption. Due to the reduced performance settings, the CPU and GPU perform below their capabilities. Nonetheless, their computing power is still sufficient for FHD gaming at high to maximum settings even then. The power consumption, which is low for a gaming laptop, can be translated into a good battery life. Realistic values of 7 to 8 h are still possible, despite the relatively small battery capacity of 53.5 Wh. Unfortunately the USB-C port doesn't offer any support for Power Delivery, which would be a sensible feature in the case of the Cyborg."
"Performance-wise, the GE78 offers a significant boost over the GE77 for just slightly higher power consumption. You'll have to get the RTX 4080 or 4090 configurations to see the performance advantages, however, as the RTX 4070 is closer in performance to the older RTX 3080 Ti. In terms of design, some users might prefer the 16:9 minimalistic look of the older GE77 over the 16:10 retro-inspired GE78 and vice versa. We wouldn't call one better than the other in terms of aesthetics, but we'll give the edge to the GE78 for its stronger hinges and larger keys and clickpad."
