The MSI Cyborg 15 is less expensive, more portable, and offers decent performance for general use with features like hardware ray tracing and backlight keyboard. It's suitable for gaming, but with lower specs than the Raider. The MSI Raider GE77Hx is pricier, but packs more power with better performance for 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering tasks. It has a higher quality build, better heat management, and a superior screen with higher resolution and refresh rate, but it's heavier and less portable. If top performance and display quality are crucial, and budget is less of a concern, go for the Raider. If you value portability, savings, and only need moderate performance, choose the Cyborg. The MSI Raider GE77Hx has a better screen than the MSI Cyborg 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The MSI Cyborg 15's display offers adequate resolution and brightness suited for everyday tasks, but for engineering and design, its color accuracy and range are lacking, which means colors may not be as vibrant or true to life as required. The MSI Raider GE77Hx has very good screen quality with superior resolution and brightness, enhancing the clarity and detail for all tasks, plus it offers a wide color gamut necessary for precision in engineering and design work. However, both models fall short for 3D tasks and gaming, primarily because they don't provide the high refresh rates needed for smooth motion and fast-paced visuals.

"The focus of the MSI Cyborg 15 lies on a compromise of performance, mobility, and power consumption. Due to the reduced performance settings, the CPU and GPU perform below their capabilities. Nonetheless, their computing power is still sufficient for FHD gaming at high to maximum settings even then. The power consumption, which is low for a gaming laptop, can be translated into a good battery life. Realistic values of 7 to 8 h are still possible, despite the relatively small battery capacity of 53.5 Wh. Unfortunately the USB-C port doesn't offer any support for Power Delivery, which would be a sensible feature in the case of the Cyborg."
"The MSI Raider GE77 offers a lot of power for a lot of money. The main components consist of a Core i9-12900HX CPU, a GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Laptop GPU (175 watts TGP, 16 GB VRAM), and 64 GB of RAM, which makes for a high overall performance level. The GeForce GPU in particular scores some of the highest scores we have seen from this chip. Both the CPU and the GPU are able to run at continuously high clock speeds. The relatively high heat and noise emissions match our expectations for this device class. With approximately 5.5 to 6.5 hours, the battery life is good for a powerful 4K laptop."
