The MSI Cyborg 15 offers better performance with a more powerful processor and advanced graphics, suitable for 3D rendering, machine learning, and intensive gaming. It has a higher refresh rate display for smoother visuals and a larger storage capacity, but at the cost of being slightly heavier and typically more expensive. In contrast, the MSI GF63 Thin is more budget-friendly and lighter, making it more portable, but has less storage and an older graphics card, making it less suited for demanding applications and gaming. Both have similar screen sizes and resolution but different color backlit keyboards; the Cyborg 15 has blue lighting while the GF63 has red. Give Feedback

The MSI Cyborg 15 is good for engineering and design, while the MSI GF63 Thin is only fair.
The MSI Cyborg 15 is better for engineering and design due to its superior central processing unit (Intel i7), more advanced graphics processing unit (Nvidia RTX 4060), and higher-quality screen with a greater refresh rate, which provides smoother visuals. By contrast, the MSI GF63 Thin has a less powerful CPU (Intel i5) and GPU (Nvidia GTX 1650 Max-Q), along with a standard quality screen, making it adequate for these tasks but not as capable as the Cyborg 15 for demanding engineering and design workloads.

The MSI Cyborg 15 has a better screen than the MSI GF63 Thin for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
For general use, both the MSI Cyborg 15 and MSI GF63 Thin offer screens with enough resolution and brightness to satisfy everyday tasks like browsing and video streaming, though they lack the premium panel types that offer better viewing angles and color reproduction. In engineering and design, their displays lack the wide color gamuts necessary for precise color work, which professionals require for accurate rendering and print matching. While engaging in 3D work and gaming, the lower refresh rates of these laptops may lead to less fluid motion and responsiveness compared to models with higher refresh rates, which are crucial for these fast-paced activities.

"The focus of the MSI Cyborg 15 lies on a compromise of performance, mobility, and power consumption. Due to the reduced performance settings, the CPU and GPU perform below their capabilities. Nonetheless, their computing power is still sufficient for FHD gaming at high to maximum settings even then. The power consumption, which is low for a gaming laptop, can be translated into a good battery life. Realistic values of 7 to 8 h are still possible, despite the relatively small battery capacity of 53.5 Wh. Unfortunately the USB-C port doesn't offer any support for Power Delivery, which would be a sensible feature in the case of the Cyborg."
"If you leave aside the meagre port selection (no card reader, no DisplayPort, no Thunderbolt 3 or USB 3.1 Gen2), the fan control that could be improved (idle mode!) and the relatively dark and slow display, the MSI GF63 Thin 9SC does not have any major weaknesses. The 15-inch gamer is compact, has a low weight and offers a good price-to-performance ratio, which should please gamers that are looking for both a portable and an affordable gaming notebook. Input devices, battery life, case quality and performance are all appropriate for this purchase price."
