For everyday tasks like web browsing, document editing, and streaming, the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 3 is a more budget-friendly option that's lightweight and has a high portability score. Its smaller screen and efficient processor deliver a longer battery life, though with modest performance capabilities. On the other hand, the MSI Stealth GS77 is better suited for demanding tasks such as gaming, 3D modeling, and engineering software, thanks to its powerful processor, high-end graphics card, and larger, higher resolution and refresh rate screen. However, this comes with a premium price tag, heavier weight, and it is less portable with a shorter battery life. Give Feedback

The MSI Stealth GS77 is very good for general use, while the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 3 is good.
The Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 3, with its more compact form factor, lower weight, smaller screen, and longer battery life, is a fair choice for general use offering good portability but has lesser CPU power, RAM, and screen resolution compared to the MSI Stealth GS77, which, despite being less portable due to its larger size and heavier weight, is very good for general use, boasting a more powerful CPU, more RAM, better screen quality, and higher storage capacity.

The MSI Stealth GS77 is good for gaming and AI, while the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 3 is only fair.
The MSI Stealth GS77 offers superior gaming and 3D performance largely due to its Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti graphics card and a high screen refresh rate of 240, which provide smoother visuals and better handling of graphically demanding tasks than the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 3's Intel i5-1235U Iris Xe graphics and 60 refresh rate. While the Surface Laptop Go 3's CPU and screen quality are adequate for lighter use, the Stealth GS77's higher-tier CPU and better screen quality further enhance its capability for more intensive work and play.

The MSI Stealth GS77 has a better screen than the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 3 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 3 is adept for general purposes and tasks that involve engineering and design due to its combination of a clear and bright display, but it lacks the high refresh rate required for smooth gaming and 3D applications. On the other hand, the MSI Stealth GS77 also offers a sharp and vivid display that benefits engineering and design software, enhanced by the coverage of professional color gamuts. However, for gaming and 3D, despite its superior resolution and panel quality, the lack of a high refresh rate may result in less fluid motion and responsiveness.

How the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 3 and the MSI Stealth GS77 compare to other laptops
"When it comes to affordably priced laptops, the numbers after the dollar sign are crucially important—more so than in any other price category. By increasing the starting price of its Laptop Go line by $200 and not changing much else, Microsoft irrevocably altered the calculus surrounding the decision of whether to buy the Surface Laptop Go 3. Sure, it has a newer processor and longer battery life, but don’t think for a second you’re not paying dearly for that extra RAM and SSD capacity at that new price."
"The MSI Stealth GS77 is better than the GS76... mostly. The GS77 is a few steps forward and a few steps back from the GS76. Improvements are numerous including the stronger and more rigid skeleton, higher resolution webcam, larger clickpad, easier serviceability, relatively similar battery runtimes, newer display options, and higher performance at about the same TDP and TGP levels as before. CPU performance is better than expected even when compared to other laptops with Core i7 or Core i9 processors. The newer model feels more substantial than the outgoing one for higher quality impressions as well."
