The Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 offers greater portability and a higher-quality build but is less powerful and has a smaller storage capacity compared to the MSI Cyborg 15. The Cyborg 15 has a stronger processor, dedicated graphics for better 3D and engineering tasks, and a larger, higher resolution screen that's better for gaming, but it's less portable and has a shorter battery life. If you prioritize lightweight design and longer battery life for general use, choose the Surface Laptop Go 2. For more intensive tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, engineering, or gaming, and if you need more storage out of the box, the Cyborg 15 is the better option. Give Feedback

The Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 has a better screen than the MSI Cyborg 15 for general use, and engineering and design, while the MSI Cyborg 15 has a better screen for gaming and AI, and software development.
The Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2, with its higher resolution and brighter display, offers a clearer and more vibrant viewing experience that benefits both general use and detail-oriented engineering tasks. Although suitable for engineering and design due to better color gamut coverage, which ensures more accurate color reproduction, the Surface falls short for gaming and 3D applications as it lacks a high refresh rate. The MSI Cyborg 15's screen, while fair for everyday tasks and engineering work, also doesn't cater well to gaming or 3D work due to its lower refresh rate, despite having an adequate resolution and panel type for these uses.

How the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 and the MSI Cyborg 15 compare to other laptops
"The Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 review is a compact companion with old hardware. The Surface Laptop Go 2 shows some weaknesses. Microsoft didn't really develop the second generation of the Surface Laptop Go 2 any further but has only equipped it with a slightly more powerful Core i5 processor. However, the performance still remains at a fairly low level overall, but for many users, it definitely should still be sufficient for everyday tasks."
"The focus of the MSI Cyborg 15 lies on a compromise of performance, mobility, and power consumption. Due to the reduced performance settings, the CPU and GPU perform below their capabilities. Nonetheless, their computing power is still sufficient for FHD gaming at high to maximum settings even then. The power consumption, which is low for a gaming laptop, can be translated into a good battery life. Realistic values of 7 to 8 h are still possible, despite the relatively small battery capacity of 53.5 Wh. Unfortunately the USB-C port doesn't offer any support for Power Delivery, which would be a sensible feature in the case of the Cyborg."
