The LG Ultra 13 offers more portability and a lighter design, making it suitable for travel and general use. Expect solid performance for everyday tasks, but it's not the best choice for intensive gaming or heavy engineering software. On the other hand, the MSI Cyborg 15, with its stronger graphics performance, is designed for gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning, although it comes with less battery life and is heavier, which compromises portability. Consider the MSI if gaming or creative work is a priority, but if you're looking for a more balanced laptop for general productivity and travel, the LG might be the better option. Give Feedback

The MSI Cyborg 15 is good for engineering and design, while the LG Ultra 13 is only fair.
The MSI Cyborg 15 surpasses the LG Ultra 13 in engineering and design tasks largely due to its superior Intel i7 processor and dedicated Nvidia RTX GPU, which are more suitable for these intensive tasks than the LG's AMD Ryzen 7 integrated graphics setup. While the LG Ultra 13 offers better portability with a lighter build and slightly higher battery life, the MSI's higher RAM capacity, better screen quality including a higher contrast ratio, and stronger overall performance make it a better choice for demanding engineering and design software.

The LG Ultra 13 has a better screen than the MSI Cyborg 15 for general use, and engineering and design, while the MSI Cyborg 15 has a better screen for gaming and AI, and software development.
The LG Ultra 13's display is ideal for typical daily tasks and professional design work due to its high resolution and brightness, alongside a wide color gamut that ensures accurate colors for engineering and design applications. However, its lower refresh rate doesn't suit gaming or 3D work where fast and fluid visuals are crucial. Conversely, the MSI Cyborg 15 offers adequate resolution and brightness for everyday and professional use, but it also falls short for gaming and 3D rendering because of its modest refresh rate which cannot deliver the seamless motion desired in these scenarios.

How the LG Ultra 13 and the MSI Cyborg 15 compare to other laptops
"The 13.3-inch LG Gram is a fine fit if you need to travel as light as possible for as long as possible without spending a fortune to do it. It might not be particularly sturdy or have an eye-catching design and its webcam is less than ideal, but with its sharp touch display, comfortable backlit keyboard, responsive touchpad and a fingerprint reader for extra security, the Gram makes a respectible everyday laptop for business or school work."
"The focus of the MSI Cyborg 15 lies on a compromise of performance, mobility, and power consumption. Due to the reduced performance settings, the CPU and GPU perform below their capabilities. Nonetheless, their computing power is still sufficient for FHD gaming at high to maximum settings even then. The power consumption, which is low for a gaming laptop, can be translated into a good battery life. Realistic values of 7 to 8 h are still possible, despite the relatively small battery capacity of 53.5 Wh. Unfortunately the USB-C port doesn't offer any support for Power Delivery, which would be a sensible feature in the case of the Cyborg."
