If you prioritize a lightweight device with a larger screen and longer battery life for tasks like web browsing, document editing, and multimedia consumption, the LG Gram 17 is suitable, especially if you're looking for a midrange price point. On the other hand, if you need a laptop for more performance-heavy tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, or gaming, the Razer Blade 15 may be a better fit despite being heavier and having shorter battery life, due to its more powerful graphics card and high refresh rate screen, but it comes at a higher price. Both laptops have high-resolution displays and are geared towards portability over rugged, outdoor use. Give Feedback

The Razer Blade 15 is very good for gaming and AI, while the LG Gram 17 is only fair.
The Razer Blade 15 is very good for gaming and 3D applications due to its powerful Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti graphics card and a high screen refresh rate of 240, which provides smoother visuals in fast-paced games. In comparison, the LG Gram 17 is considered just good because it equips an Intel Iris Xe GPU, which is less powerful than the Razer's and has a lower screen refresh rate of 60, offering less fluid gameplay.

The LG Gram 17 has a better screen than the Razer Blade 15 for software development, and content creation, while the Razer Blade 15 has a better screen for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
The LG Gram 17 offers a large, high-resolution display with ample brightness, making it suitable for general use and detailed engineering work where color accuracy is critical. However, its standard refresh rate limits its ability in providing the smooth visuals often desired in gaming and 3D applications. On the other hand, the Razer Blade 15's superior color range makes it ideal for precise engineering and design tasks, while its high-resolution and quality panel satisfy general use, but like the LG Gram, it falls short for gaming and 3D due to its less optimal refresh rate.

The Razer Blade 15 and LG Gram 17 are both very good for engineering and design.
The LG Gram 17, with its lightweight build and lower-powered integrated graphics, is well-suited for engineering and design but may struggle with the most intensive tasks, while the Razer Blade 15 comes with a high-performance CPU and dedicated GPU, making it very suitable for demanding engineering software and tasks that require significant graphical power. Despite the Gram's larger screen and competitive screen quality, the Razer offers a superior combination of power and portability, albeit at the expense of a heavier form factor and potentially louder operating noise.

How the LG Gram 17 and the Razer Blade 15 compare to other laptops
"The LG Gram 17 is a light office laptop with a large display and great battery life. The newest incarnation of the Gram 17 can be classified as a model update. LG uses the predecessor's compact, light magnesium case along with an identical port configuration (including 2x Thunderbolt 4) and keyboard. Changes can be found in the hardware. With the Gram 17 (2022), LG offers a light (approx. 1,350 g), mobile work device - and finally with a matte display."
"The 2022 Blade 15 offers roughly 15 to 25 percent faster graphics performance and 20 percent faster CPU performance over last year's Core i7-11800H and RTX 3080 model. Thankfully, the system doesn't need to run noticeably louder or warmer to achieve faster results, but both power consumption and battery life take a hit. The higher consumption in particular appears to be a trend amongst many 12th gen Core laptops including the Schenker Uniwill Technology GM7AG8P or MSI Vector GP66 when compared to their previous generation counterparts. We're also glad to not see below-average CPU performance which was the case for the 10th gen Core i7-10875H model."
