If price is a primary concern and you prefer a larger screen for multitasking, the LG Gram 16 offers value and a more expansive display that's still surprisingly lightweight, making it easier on the wallet and good for everyday use. However, if you are looking for a more compact and possibly more robust build, potentially with better performance that could also handle more demanding applications, the Lenovo ThinkBook 13x could justify its higher cost; just bear in mind it may be heavier and have a smaller screen, which could affect portability and multitasking ease. The Lenovo ThinkBook 13x has a better screen than the LG Gram 16 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, and software development.
When considering a laptop for general use, the LG Gram's screen offers a good balance of clarity and brightness for activities like browsing or streaming, but the Lenovo ThinkBook’s slightly superior resolution and brightness may provide richer visual detail and comfort during long hours of use. For engineering and design, where color accuracy is crucial, both laptops offer respectable coverage of professional color gamuts, making them suitable for tasks that involve detailed color work. However, for gaming or 3D applications, neither laptop is ideal due to their lower refresh rates, which may result in less smooth visuals compared to screens with higher refresh rates typically found in dedicated gaming laptops.

The Lenovo ThinkBook 13x and LG Gram 16 are both only fair for gaming and AI.
The LG Gram 16 and Lenovo ThinkBook 13x may not provide the best gaming and 3D performance due to their GPUs, which are less powerful than those found in dedicated gaming laptops, and both have standard screen refresh rates that are not optimal for fast-paced games. While they have capable CPUs and good screen quality, these factors are less crucial than the GPU and refresh rate for gaming and 3D applications, so they are better suited for general use rather than high-performance gaming or professional 3D work.

How the LG Gram 16 and the Lenovo ThinkBook 13x compare to other laptops
"The LG Gram 16 is a lightweight device with stability issues. The LG Gram 16Z90Q with a Core i7-1260P is made with portability in mind and places less of a focus on users with high demands on performance. The compact and light chassis is particularly practical when you are on the go. The device is not only comfortably small and lightweight, it also boasts a great battery life. When connected to mains, on the other hand, the 16-inch device is rather disappointing. The standard cooling mode causes extreme volatility in terms of CPU, SSD and iGPU performance. The meager stability of the chassis may also put off some potential buyers."
