The LG Gram 16 is known for its lightweight design and long battery life, making it an excellent choice for those who value portability and do not require intensive computing power. On the other hand, the MSI Thin GF63, while still relatively portable, offers stronger performance, particularly for gaming or more demanding applications, but this usually comes with a shorter battery life in comparison. If your primary concern is carrying your laptop around and using it for everyday tasks without frequent charging, the LG Gram might suit you better. However, if you're looking to run more resource-heavy programs or games, the MSI Thin GF63 would be the better choice despite the tradeoff in weight and battery endurance. Give Feedback

The MSI Thin GF63 and LG Gram 16 are both only fair for gaming and AI, though the MSI Thin GF63 is somewhat better.
The LG Gram 16 is equipped with an integrated Intel Iris Xe GPU that performs adequately for less demanding games and 3D applications, and its screen refreshes at a standard rate that is fine for everyday tasks but not ideal for fast-paced gaming that benefits from higher refresh rates. On the other hand, the MSI Thin GF63 comes with a dedicated Nvidia RTX 4050 GPU and a high refresh rate screen, both of which are better suited for the performance demands of modern gaming and 3D rendering, leading to smoother visuals and more detailed graphics.

The LG Gram 16 has a better screen than the MSI Thin GF63 for general use, engineering and design, software development, and content creation, while the MSI Thin GF63 has a better screen for gaming and AI.
The LG Gram 16's higher resolution and brightness make for a crisp and vivid display for general activities and detailed work in engineering and design, but its standard refresh rate limits the smoothness required in fast-paced 3D applications. The MSI Thin GF63, while offering fair display performance for everyday tasks and some professional use with acceptable resolution and brightness, also falls short for gaming and 3D work due to its lower refresh rate. Both laptops lack the high refresh rates preferred for 3D applications, but for users focusing on general use and engineering, the LG Gram's superior color accuracy and screen brightness offer substantial benefits.

How the LG Gram 16 and the MSI Thin GF63 compare to other laptops
"The LG Gram 16 is a lightweight device with stability issues. The LG Gram 16Z90Q with a Core i7-1260P is made with portability in mind and places less of a focus on users with high demands on performance. The compact and light chassis is particularly practical when you are on the go. The device is not only comfortably small and lightweight, it also boasts a great battery life. When connected to mains, on the other hand, the 16-inch device is rather disappointing. The standard cooling mode causes extreme volatility in terms of CPU, SSD and iGPU performance. The meager stability of the chassis may also put off some potential buyers."
"The MSI GF63 Thin 11SC can be an admirable value for gamers and power users on a minimal budget. For just $599 as reviewed in its base model, its Intel Core i5 H-class processor and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 graphics perform much better than low-wattage CPUs and integrated graphics. That said, this is a light-class gaming laptop. Low scores in our demanding gaming benchmarks indicate using lower visual-quality settings will be required for playable performance."
