Choosing between the LG Gram 16 and the MSI Summit E14 Flip Evo depends on your priorities. If you value a larger screen, longer battery life, and a lighter laptop for easier portability, the LG Gram is an excellent choice. However, the MSI Summit E14 offers a higher resolution touchscreen display and generally has a more substantial build, better suited for business use with features like facial recognition. Both have similar performance capabilities and are equipped with the same processor, so for general use, either would serve well. If storage is a concern, the MSI Summit includes considerably more built-in storage. Both are not ideal for intensive gaming or high-end 3D work, but can handle general engineering tasks. The LG Gram 16 has a better screen than the MSI Summit E14 Flip Evo for software development, while the MSI Summit E14 Flip Evo has a better screen for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
The LG Gram 16, with its high resolution and brightness, offers a clear and vibrant display suitable for tasks like browsing and document editing, which are typical in general use. Its respectable color accuracy and coverage make it suitable for engineering and design work where precise color representation is crucial. However, for gaming and 3D applications where a high refresh rate is critical to keep motion smooth and reduce lag, the LG Gram 16 falls short, making it less ideal for fast-paced interactive graphics.

The MSI Summit E14 Flip Evo and LG Gram 16 are both only fair for gaming and AI.
The LG Gram 16 and MSI Summit E14 Flip Evo both offer fair gaming and 3D experiences primarily because they use the same integrated GPU, which can handle light gaming but isn't as powerful as dedicated GPUs found in high-end gaming laptops, and they have standard screen refresh rates suitable for everyday tasks but not optimal for fast-paced gaming. While both have quality IPS screens, they don't exceed a 60Hz refresh rate which is a critical factor for smoother visuals in gaming and 3D applications.

How the LG Gram 16 and the MSI Summit E14 Flip Evo compare to other laptops
"The LG Gram 16 is a lightweight device with stability issues. The LG Gram 16Z90Q with a Core i7-1260P is made with portability in mind and places less of a focus on users with high demands on performance. The compact and light chassis is particularly practical when you are on the go. The device is not only comfortably small and lightweight, it also boasts a great battery life. When connected to mains, on the other hand, the 16-inch device is rather disappointing. The standard cooling mode causes extreme volatility in terms of CPU, SSD and iGPU performance. The meager stability of the chassis may also put off some potential buyers."
"The MSI Summit E14 Flip convertible review: a legit alternative to HP, Dell or Lenovo. Instead of taking the 13-inch Summit E13 Flip and simply enlarging it for a 14-inch form factor, the Summit E14 Flip is the full chassis redesign we've been looking for. It loses some of the golden trims of its smaller sibling, but the gains in rigidity and build quality are arguably worth it especially from a professional standpoint where reliability takes priority. It doesn't quite feel as strong as the HP Spectre just yet, but it's certainly getting close."
