Considering your preferences will determine whether the LG Gram 16 or the MSI Stealth GS77 is the suitable choice for you. The LG Gram 16 is lighter and offers better battery life, making it ideal for those who prioritize portability and longer usage between charges. Its performance is suitable for general use and its cost is relatively lower. On the other hand, the MSI Stealth GS77 delivers much higher performance especially suited for 3D rendering, machine learning, intensive gaming, and engineering tasks; however, it is heavier, has a shorter battery life, and comes with a premium price tag. The MSI model also features better screen quality for color-sensitive work and a superior keyboard, but at the expense of less portability due to its weight and size. Give Feedback

The MSI Stealth GS77 is very good for engineering and design, while the LG Gram 16 is good.
The MSI Stealth GS77 is preferred for engineering and design due to its more robust CPU, double the RAM, and dedicated high-performance NVIDIA GPU, enhancing computing power and graphics handling crucial for intensive tasks, but it's heavier and less portable than the LG Gram 16 which is lighter and offers silent operation. Despite the LG's good screen and build quality, it has a lower-powered integrated GPU and less RAM, making it less suitable for demanding engineering software but advantageous for on-the-go productivity due to its lighter weight and quieter operation.

The MSI Stealth GS77 has a better screen than the LG Gram 16 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, the LG Gram 16 offers a vivid and sharp display with ample brightness for comfortable viewing, while the MSI Stealth GS77 provides similar benefits with potentially better brightness and resolution, enhancing the visual experience. In engineering and design tasks, both laptops provide wide color coverage and high resolution that help in detailed and color-accurate work, although the MSI's superior display specifications may offer an edge in color precision. How the LG Gram 16 and the MSI Stealth GS77 compare to other laptops
"The LG Gram 16 is a lightweight device with stability issues. The LG Gram 16Z90Q with a Core i7-1260P is made with portability in mind and places less of a focus on users with high demands on performance. The compact and light chassis is particularly practical when you are on the go. The device is not only comfortably small and lightweight, it also boasts a great battery life. When connected to mains, on the other hand, the 16-inch device is rather disappointing. The standard cooling mode causes extreme volatility in terms of CPU, SSD and iGPU performance. The meager stability of the chassis may also put off some potential buyers."
"The MSI Stealth GS77 is better than the GS76... mostly. The GS77 is a few steps forward and a few steps back from the GS76. Improvements are numerous including the stronger and more rigid skeleton, higher resolution webcam, larger clickpad, easier serviceability, relatively similar battery runtimes, newer display options, and higher performance at about the same TDP and TGP levels as before. CPU performance is better than expected even when compared to other laptops with Core i7 or Core i9 processors. The newer model feels more substantial than the outgoing one for higher quality impressions as well."
