The LG Gram 16 is more affordable, lighter, and offers longer battery life, making it ideal for those who need portability and a laptop for general use. Its performance is suitable for day-to-day tasks, but it may not handle intensive 3D rendering or machine learning tasks well. On the other hand, the MSI Stealth GS66 is more costly, heavy, and has shorter battery life, but it's equipped with a powerful processor and high-end graphics card, making it well-suited for gaming, 3D rendering, machine learning, and other resource-intensive applications, although it might be overkill for just browsing or office applications. How the LG Gram 16 and the MSI Stealth GS66 compare to other laptops
"The LG Gram 16 is a lightweight device with stability issues. The LG Gram 16Z90Q with a Core i7-1260P is made with portability in mind and places less of a focus on users with high demands on performance. The compact and light chassis is particularly practical when you are on the go. The device is not only comfortably small and lightweight, it also boasts a great battery life. When connected to mains, on the other hand, the 16-inch device is rather disappointing. The standard cooling mode causes extreme volatility in terms of CPU, SSD and iGPU performance. The meager stability of the chassis may also put off some potential buyers."
"The MSI Stealth GS66 is powerful enough for QHD. The Core i7-12700H and the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti found in the 12UGS model that we tested run all modern games smoothly in the native QHD resolution. The 15-inch display is very fast with its 240 Hz refresh rate, and it also offers a great color space (almost 100% DCI-P3) on top of that, which should please gamers as well as content creators, although we would have still wished for a higher brightness. Case, input devices, and connectivity (Thunderbolt 4) are at a good level. However, among other things, the GS66 loses points due to the high temperature development in 3D mode and its poor webcam."
