The LG Gram 16 is more affordable and lighter, thus more portable, with good battery life, making it a great choice for general use and carrying around. However, if you require high performance for tasks like intensive gaming, 3D rendering, or machine learning, the MSI Raider GE78, though pricier and heavier with shorter battery life, delivers superior performance with its advanced processor and top-tier graphics. The Raider's robust build and high-quality keyboard also make it more suitable for heavy use, whereas the Gram's quieter, fanless operation may appeal for quieter environments. Give Feedback

The MSI Raider GE78 has a better screen than the LG Gram 16 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The LG Gram 16, with its emphasis on high resolution and brightness, provides clear and vivid images that enhance everyday computing and detailed engineering work; however, its lower refresh rate impacts the smoothness required for 3D applications and gaming. On the other hand, the MSI Raider GE78, while also offering a high-quality display for general activities and color-critical tasks with its wide color gamuts, fails to deliver in gaming and 3D performance due to its unsatisfactory refresh rate. For consumers prioritizing visual clarity and color accuracy over gaming, both laptops excel, but those seeking fluid motion in 3D environments may find these options lacking.

"The LG Gram 16 is a lightweight device with stability issues. The LG Gram 16Z90Q with a Core i7-1260P is made with portability in mind and places less of a focus on users with high demands on performance. The compact and light chassis is particularly practical when you are on the go. The device is not only comfortably small and lightweight, it also boasts a great battery life. When connected to mains, on the other hand, the 16-inch device is rather disappointing. The standard cooling mode causes extreme volatility in terms of CPU, SSD and iGPU performance. The meager stability of the chassis may also put off some potential buyers."
"Performance-wise, the GE78 offers a significant boost over the GE77 for just slightly higher power consumption. You'll have to get the RTX 4080 or 4090 configurations to see the performance advantages, however, as the RTX 4070 is closer in performance to the older RTX 3080 Ti. In terms of design, some users might prefer the 16:9 minimalistic look of the older GE77 over the 16:10 retro-inspired GE78 and vice versa. We wouldn't call one better than the other in terms of aesthetics, but we'll give the edge to the GE78 for its stronger hinges and larger keys and clickpad."
