For those who prioritize a lightweight and easily portable machine, the LG Gram 16 may be preferable, despite being slightly heavier, as it also offers a larger screen, more power for multitasking and complex tasks due to its higher RAM and better processor, and longer battery life. On the other hand, the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 is more affordable, also quite portable, features a touchscreen, and is well-suited for general use or light productivity tasks. The tradeoff includes a smaller screen, less RAM, which may affect multitasking, and a shorter battery life. Neither is designed for intensive gaming or heavy graphics work. Give Feedback

The LG Gram 16 and Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 are both good for general use, though the LG Gram 16 is somewhat better.
The LG Gram 16 offers a more robust performance for general use with a higher-end CPU, more RAM, a larger and higher-resolution screen, and a longer battery life, which is favorable for various tasks and multi-tasking scenarios, though it has a somewhat larger form factor affecting portability in comparison to the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2. The Surface Laptop Go 2, while more portable due to its smaller size and lower weight, has a lower-tier CPU, less RAM, a smaller touchscreen with lower resolution, and a shorter battery life, which may limit its performance under heavier workloads, but still maintains a high-quality build and keyboard.

The LG Gram 16 has a better screen than the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 for general use, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
For general use, the LG Gram 16 and the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 both offer screens with adequate resolution, panel type, and brightness, making them suitable for everyday tasks like browsing and video streaming. How the LG Gram 16 and the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 compare to other laptops
"The LG Gram 16 is a lightweight device with stability issues. The LG Gram 16Z90Q with a Core i7-1260P is made with portability in mind and places less of a focus on users with high demands on performance. The compact and light chassis is particularly practical when you are on the go. The device is not only comfortably small and lightweight, it also boasts a great battery life. When connected to mains, on the other hand, the 16-inch device is rather disappointing. The standard cooling mode causes extreme volatility in terms of CPU, SSD and iGPU performance. The meager stability of the chassis may also put off some potential buyers."
"The Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 review is a compact companion with old hardware. The Surface Laptop Go 2 shows some weaknesses. Microsoft didn't really develop the second generation of the Surface Laptop Go 2 any further but has only equipped it with a slightly more powerful Core i5 processor. However, the performance still remains at a fairly low level overall, but for many users, it definitely should still be sufficient for everyday tasks."
