The Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i offers a superior display with Mini LED technology and a higher resolution, making it an excellent choice for those who prioritize screen quality for tasks like photo editing or media consumption. It also has a touchscreen and a 16:10 aspect ratio, which is great for productivity. However, it comes with a higher price tag and is less suitable for gaming due to its focus on general use and portability. Its performance is still strong, thanks to the Intel Core Ultra 7 processor and Nvidia RTX 4050 GPU, but it's not marketed as a gaming laptop. On the other hand, the MSI Thin GF63 is more budget-friendly and gaming-oriented with its 144Hz refresh rate screen, which is beneficial for smoother gameplay. Despite having the same GPU as the Lenovo, its performance might be slightly hindered by the less advanced cooling system, but it's still a solid choice for gaming and 3D tasks. The MSI's battery life is shorter, and the build quality isn't as premium, but it's a more cost-effective option for those who want a balance of performance and value without the extra features of the Lenovo. In summary, choose the Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i for its exceptional screen, premium build, and versatility in creative tasks, but be prepared to pay more. Opt for the MSI Thin GF63 if you're looking for a more affordable laptop that still offers good gaming and 3D performance with a focus on value. Give Feedback

Tom's Hardware

Charles Jeffries | November 2022
"The MSI GF63 Thin 11SC can be an admirable value for gamers and power users on a minimal budget. For just $599 as reviewed in its base model, its Intel Core i5 H-class processor and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 graphics perform much better than low-wattage CPUs and integrated graphics. That said, this is a light-class gaming laptop. Low scores in our demanding gaming benchmarks indicate using lower visual-quality settings will be required for playable performance."
