The Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i offers superior performance for demanding tasks like gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning with its dedicated Nvidia RTX 4050 GPU and Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, making it an excellent choice for engineering tasks. It also boasts a high-quality Mini LED display with vibrant colors and a high refresh rate, ideal for fast-motion content and creative work. The laptop's touchscreen, number pad, and robust port selection, including Thunderbolt 4, add to its versatility. However, it comes with a higher price tag and is less portable due to its weight and thickness. In contrast, the LG Gram 16 is more budget-friendly and significantly more portable, with a longer battery life and a design that prioritizes lightweight travel. Its Intel i7-1260P processor and integrated Iris Xe graphics are suitable for general use and light gaming, but it may struggle with more intensive tasks compared to the Lenovo. The LG's display, while not as advanced as the Lenovo's, still offers a high resolution and good color accuracy for everyday use. It also operates silently with a fanless design, which is a plus for those who value quietness. Ultimately, if you need top-tier performance and don't mind a heavier, more expensive laptop, the Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i is the way to go. However, if portability, battery life, and budget are your primary concerns, and you're okay with lesser performance for general use, the LG Gram 16 is the better option. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Florian Glaser | January 2023
"The LG Gram 16 is a lightweight device with stability issues. The LG Gram 16Z90Q with a Core i7-1260P is made with portability in mind and places less of a focus on users with high demands on performance. The compact and light chassis is particularly practical when you are on the go. The device is not only comfortably small and lightweight, it also boasts a great battery life. When connected to mains, on the other hand, the 16-inch device is rather disappointing. The standard cooling mode causes extreme volatility in terms of CPU, SSD and iGPU performance. The meager stability of the chassis may also put off some potential buyers."
