If performance during intensive engineering tasks is your priority and a high-quality display is important, especially for color accuracy or tasks like video editing, then the Lenovo ThinkPad Z16 with its OLED screen and premium business laptop features may be a good fit. However, the Razer Blade 15 offers a higher refresh rate for smoother visuals, which along with its RTX 3070 Ti GPU and features like hardware ray tracing and DLSS, makes it more suitable for gaming and tasks that benefit from a powerful graphics card, like 3D rendering or machine learning. Both laptops are similarly priced and not particularly lightweight, meaning portability is fairly similar, and neither is ideal if you're frequently on the move. The ThinkPad has a longer battery life for extended use away from power outlets, while the Blade's higher performance capabilities may drain its battery faster. Give Feedback

The Lenovo ThinkPad Z16 is very good for general use, while the Razer Blade 15 is good.
The Lenovo ThinkPad Z16 outshines in general use due to its superior OLED screen with exceptional resolution and color accuracy, higher RAM capacity, and slightly longer battery life, all factors that contribute to a more robust and visually impressive computing experience. Meanwhile, the Razer Blade 15, while still good for general use, offers a high-refresh-rate IPS display suited for gaming, along with robust heat management and speaker quality, but falls behind in screen resolution and battery performance as compared to the ThinkPad Z16.

The Lenovo ThinkPad Z16 has a better screen than the Razer Blade 15 for general use, engineering and design, software development, and content creation, while the Razer Blade 15 has a better screen for gaming and AI.
When considering general use, the Lenovo ThinkPad Z16's display offers high resolution and brightness, making text and images sharp and easy to view, while Razer Blade 15 also provides a high-resolution, bright display for clear and vibrant visuals. For engineering and design, the ThinkPad Z16's screen excels by covering a wide range of color gamuts, ensuring accurate color reproduction, which is crucial, although Razer Blade 15 also offers a good color range for these tasks. However, for 3D tasks and gaming, both laptops fall short due to lower refresh rates, which could lead to less fluid motion and responsiveness compared to displays with higher refresh rates.

How the Lenovo ThinkPad Z16 and the Razer Blade 15 compare to other laptops
"Lenovo’s ThinkPad Z16 tries has some success in its effort to tweak the ThinkPad formula. The laptop is attractive, yet still tame, and material quality is on par with the best Windows competition. I also like the smooth, responsive haptic touchpad and the wide range of modern connectivity. Yet the Z16 doesn’t fix ThinkPad’s typical weakness: value. Starting around $1,550, and more typically near $1,700, the Z16 finds itself facing alternatives that have better performance or an improved display for the same price, or less."
"The 2022 Blade 15 offers roughly 15 to 25 percent faster graphics performance and 20 percent faster CPU performance over last year's Core i7-11800H and RTX 3080 model. Thankfully, the system doesn't need to run noticeably louder or warmer to achieve faster results, but both power consumption and battery life take a hit. The higher consumption in particular appears to be a trend amongst many 12th gen Core laptops including the Schenker Uniwill Technology GM7AG8P or MSI Vector GP66 when compared to their previous generation counterparts. We're also glad to not see below-average CPU performance which was the case for the 10th gen Core i7-10875H model."
