The Lenovo ThinkPad Z16 generally comes at a slightly less expensive price compared to the MSI Stealth GS77 and offers a superior screen with its OLED display, higher resolution, and better color accuracy which is ideal for professional creative work. However, it has less storage capacity and does not support the high refresh rates or hardware ray tracing that the MSI provides. Meanwhile, the MSI Stealth GS77 boasts a more powerful GPU and a high refresh rate screen, making it well-suited for gaming and intensive 3D tasks. It also includes hardware ray tracing, which is important for cutting-edge gaming graphics. On the other hand, it's heavier and more cumbersome to carry around, so it's less portable than the Lenovo. The MSI has a slight advantage in general use and engineering performance, but its battery life is shorter. If portability and screen quality are crucial and you'll use the laptop mainly for general use and creative tasks, the Lenovo could be a good fit. But if you're looking for high-end gaming performance, 3D rendering, and aren't as concerned about portability, then the MSI might be the better choice. Give Feedback

The Lenovo ThinkPad Z16 has a better screen than the MSI Stealth GS77 for general use, and engineering and design, while the MSI Stealth GS77 has a better screen for gaming and AI.
If you primarily use your laptop for everyday tasks like browsing the web and watching videos, both the Lenovo ThinkPad Z16 and MSI Stealth GS77 offer vibrant and sharp displays with adequate brightness. For engineering and design work where precise color representation matters, the ThinkPad Z16 excels due to its wider color gamut coverage, providing richer and more accurate colors. However, for gaming and 3D modeling where smooth motion is key, neither model is ideal as they lack high refresh rates, which means you won't get as fluid visuals as laptops designed specifically for those purposes.

How the Lenovo ThinkPad Z16 and the MSI Stealth GS77 compare to other laptops
"Lenovo’s ThinkPad Z16 tries has some success in its effort to tweak the ThinkPad formula. The laptop is attractive, yet still tame, and material quality is on par with the best Windows competition. I also like the smooth, responsive haptic touchpad and the wide range of modern connectivity. Yet the Z16 doesn’t fix ThinkPad’s typical weakness: value. Starting around $1,550, and more typically near $1,700, the Z16 finds itself facing alternatives that have better performance or an improved display for the same price, or less."
"The MSI Stealth GS77 is better than the GS76... mostly. The GS77 is a few steps forward and a few steps back from the GS76. Improvements are numerous including the stronger and more rigid skeleton, higher resolution webcam, larger clickpad, easier serviceability, relatively similar battery runtimes, newer display options, and higher performance at about the same TDP and TGP levels as before. CPU performance is better than expected even when compared to other laptops with Core i7 or Core i9 processors. The newer model feels more substantial than the outgoing one for higher quality impressions as well."
