To help you decide between the Lenovo Slim Pro 7 14 and the MSI Stealth GS66, consider the following: The Lenovo Slim Pro likely offers better value if your primary concerns are general use, like web browsing, productivity tasks, and media consumption, while still being easier on the wallet. It's also probably lighter and has a more compact design, making it more convenient for travel. However, if you need top-tier performance for activities like gaming, 3D modeling, or machine learning, the MSI Stealth GS66, despite its higher price, typically provides more powerful hardware. This could include a more advanced graphics card and faster processors, which are crucial for these demanding tasks. The tradeoff for the MSI's higher performance would be shorter battery life and less portability due to its typically larger size and weight. Consider how you plan to use your laptop and which aspects—cost, performance, portability, battery life—are most important to you. Give Feedback

The MSI Stealth GS66 is very good for engineering and design, while the Lenovo Slim Pro 7 14 is good.
The MSI Stealth GS66 is regarded as very good for engineering and design use because it boasts a stronger GPU, the Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti, which is superior to the RTX 3050 found in the Lenovo Slim Pro 7 14, offering more power for graphically intensive tasks, despite having less onboard storage. Although the Lenovo is lighter and has a higher resolution screen, which may be better for some design work, the MSI's superior performance components and additional screen size make it a more robust choice for demanding engineering applications.

The Lenovo Slim Pro 7 14 has a better screen than the MSI Stealth GS66 for software development, and content creation, while the MSI Stealth GS66 has a better screen for general use, and gaming and AI.
The Lenovo Slim Pro 7 14 offers a crisp resolution and bright display which makes it appealing for everyday tasks and viewing documents, while its high color accuracy benefits tasks involving design or engineering work. However, its refresh rate is lower, making it less suitable for gaming and 3D work, where smoother motion is crucial for an optimal experience. The MSI Stealth GS66 also provides a clear and bright image for general computing and it covers a broad range of colors to satisfy engineering and design needs, but like the Lenovo, it falls short for gaming and 3D applications due to a less optimal refresh rate.

How the Lenovo Slim Pro 7 14 and the MSI Stealth GS66 compare to other laptops
"The Lenovo Slim Pro 7 is an attractive, portable laptop that’s ideal if you need a combination of CPU and GPU performance. It also nails the fundamentals with solid connectivity, an enjoyable keyboard, a large touchpad, and top-notch webcam. Display quality is a weakness, but it’s an acceptable compromise for the laptop’s extremely competitive $1,199 MSRP. The Slim Pro 7 is a versatile, affordable laptop and hard to beat for the price."
"The MSI Stealth GS66 is powerful enough for QHD. The Core i7-12700H and the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti found in the 12UGS model that we tested run all modern games smoothly in the native QHD resolution. The 15-inch display is very fast with its 240 Hz refresh rate, and it also offers a great color space (almost 100% DCI-P3) on top of that, which should please gamers as well as content creators, although we would have still wished for a higher brightness. Case, input devices, and connectivity (Thunderbolt 4) are at a good level. However, among other things, the GS66 loses points due to the high temperature development in 3D mode and its poor webcam."
