If you need a laptop that is more affordable and offers longer battery life for general use, the Lenovo Slim 7 might suit you – it is also lighter for portability. On the other hand, the MSI Stealth GS66, although more expensive, provides superior performance for 3D, machine learning, and gaming tasks, with a much higher refresh rate for smoother visuals. Both have similar storage and memory but expect a tradeoff between the Lenovo's better screen resolution and aspect ratio against the MSI's higher performance graphics card. Consider the Lenovo for regular use and the MSI if you need a powerful laptop for specialized tasks like gaming or engineering applications. Give Feedback

The Lenovo Slim 7 16 has a better screen than the MSI Stealth GS66 for general use, and engineering and design.
The Lenovo Slim 7 16 likely offers superior screen clarity and color accuracy due to its resolution and panel type, making it excellent for general tasks and engineering applications where color representation is crucial. However, its lower refresh rate may hinder the smoothness required in gaming and 3D tasks. Conversely, the MSI Stealth GS66, while still providing a good visual experience for general use and sufficient color depth for engineering work, falls short in gaming experiences where a high refresh rate is vital for fluid motion.

How the Lenovo Slim 7 16 and the MSI Stealth GS66 compare to other laptops
"At $1,011, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7 Pro is a real bargain among full-sized laptops, with a handsome 16-inch, 16:10 aspect ratio touch screen, a speedy CPU, a comfortable keyboard, ample memory, and a roomy solid-state drive. It's not a blazing gaming rig or mobile workstation, but it doesn't pretend to be. Its biggest negative is that it may be hard to find—during our review, it sold out and was marked "Temporarily Unavailable" on Lenovo's site."
"The MSI Stealth GS66 is powerful enough for QHD. The Core i7-12700H and the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti found in the 12UGS model that we tested run all modern games smoothly in the native QHD resolution. The 15-inch display is very fast with its 240 Hz refresh rate, and it also offers a great color space (almost 100% DCI-P3) on top of that, which should please gamers as well as content creators, although we would have still wished for a higher brightness. Case, input devices, and connectivity (Thunderbolt 4) are at a good level. However, among other things, the GS66 loses points due to the high temperature development in 3D mode and its poor webcam."
