Choose the Lenovo LOQ 15i for its superior performance in engineering tasks and gaming, thanks to its more powerful CPU and additional RAM, which also benefits general multitasking. It offers a better color-accurate display for creative work, a backlit keyboard with a number pad, and more robust security features with both fingerprint and facial recognition. However, it's slightly heavier and has a shorter battery life compared to the MSI Cyborg 15. Opt for the MSI Cyborg 15 if you prioritize longer battery life and a more portable design. It's lighter and thinner, making it more suitable for on-the-go use. While it has less storage and RAM, it still delivers solid performance for general use and gaming, with a GPU that matches the Lenovo. The MSI also has a slightly brighter screen, which could be beneficial in well-lit environments. Keep in mind that it lacks the number pad and advanced security features of the Lenovo, which might be a drawback if those are important to you. Give Feedback

PCMag

Mark Knapp | August 2023
"Even after a short time with the LOQ 15, you'll find it has a lot going for it, but ultimately it's just "good"—not quite a star. The performance is respectable for the hardware it’s running, but Lenovo had to make some design sacrifices to trim the price. One of the better aspects is the keyboard, making it one of the better low-cost gaming laptops to actually put your hands on."

NotebookCheck

Sascha Mölck | April 2023
"The focus of the MSI Cyborg 15 lies on a compromise of performance, mobility, and power consumption. Due to the reduced performance settings, the CPU and GPU perform below their capabilities. Nonetheless, their computing power is still sufficient for FHD gaming at high to maximum settings even then. The power consumption, which is low for a gaming laptop, can be translated into a good battery life. Realistic values of 7 to 8 h are still possible, despite the relatively small battery capacity of 53.5 Wh. Unfortunately the USB-C port doesn't offer any support for Power Delivery, which would be a sensible feature in the case of the Cyborg."
