If you prioritize gaming or demanding engineering tasks, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 with its powerful processor and dedicated graphics is a strong choice, though it has a larger screen and is heavier, affecting portability. On the other hand, the MSI Summit E14 Flip Evo, while also powerful, is more suited to general use and business tasks with its added versatility of a touchscreen and a flip design for presentations or note-taking, offering better portability due to its smaller size and weight. The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 has a better screen than the MSI Summit E14 Flip Evo for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
For general use, both the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 and the MSI Summit E14 Flip Evo offer high resolution and brightness, making text and images crisp and comfortable to view in various lighting conditions. When considering engineering and design tasks, both laptops have excellent color reproduction, covering a wide range of the color spectrum that ensures accurate visuals critical for detailed work. However, for gaming and 3D applications, the lower refresh rates on these laptops may result in less fluid motion, which is less optimal for fast-paced, graphics-intensive activities where smoothness is key.

How the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 16" and the MSI Summit E14 Flip Evo compare to other laptops
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a slim Legion notebook that is just as excellent with Nvidia & Intel. However, the Legion Slim 7i slightly sullied by lacklustre battery life. You get a slim aluminium chassis, great input devices, decent port selection, fast high-quality WQXGA display and great performance. Supporting Thunderbolt 4 is one advantage of the Intel/Nvidia model tested in this review. Moreover, this variant has slightly higher CPU performance as well as better GPU performance in certain applications (e.g. CUDA-based apps). The Lenovo Legion S7i is thin, premium and performant – but less efficient than its AMD counterpart."
"The MSI Summit E14 Flip convertible review: a legit alternative to HP, Dell or Lenovo. Instead of taking the 13-inch Summit E13 Flip and simply enlarging it for a 14-inch form factor, the Summit E14 Flip is the full chassis redesign we've been looking for. It loses some of the golden trims of its smaller sibling, but the gains in rigidity and build quality are arguably worth it especially from a professional standpoint where reliability takes priority. It doesn't quite feel as strong as the HP Spectre just yet, but it's certainly getting close."
