The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 offers a balance of performance and portability, with a strong graphics card making it suitable for gaming and creative tasks. Meanwhile, the Lenovo ThinkPad P16 excels in professional environments with its high-resolution screen and longer battery life, although it's heavier and less portable. If you favor gaming or want a lightweight option, consider the Legion Slim 7. If you prioritize a high-quality display for design work, engineering software, or extended use without charging, the ThinkPad P16 is the better option. Both have similar prices, so your choice should be guided by specific needs rather than cost. Give Feedback

The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 has a better screen than the Lenovo ThinkPad P16 for gaming and AI, while the Lenovo ThinkPad P16 has a better screen for engineering and design, and content creation.
For general use, both the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 and the ThinkPad P16 have screens that provide clear images and bright displays, ensuring a pleasant experience whether you're browsing the internet, watching movies or working on documents. In engineering and design, the color accuracy and wide color gamuts of these laptops excel, allowing professionals to work on projects where color representation is crucial. However, for gaming and 3D applications, the lower refresh rate of these screens may result in less fluid motion, which is less optimal for fast-paced games or smooth rendering of 3D graphics.

How the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 16" and the Lenovo ThinkPad P16 compare to other laptops
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a slim Legion notebook that is just as excellent with Nvidia & Intel. However, the Legion Slim 7i slightly sullied by lacklustre battery life. You get a slim aluminium chassis, great input devices, decent port selection, fast high-quality WQXGA display and great performance. Supporting Thunderbolt 4 is one advantage of the Intel/Nvidia model tested in this review. Moreover, this variant has slightly higher CPU performance as well as better GPU performance in certain applications (e.g. CUDA-based apps). The Lenovo Legion S7i is thin, premium and performant – but less efficient than its AMD counterpart."
"It's only a few months since we gave the MSI CreatorPro X17 one of our rare 4.5-star ratings and our top mobile workstation honor, but the Lenovo ThinkPad P16 Gen 1 matches that achievement in a more premium overall build. Ultimately, its build quality, screen, and keyboard give our latest Editors' Choice nod to the Lenovo—it's enough of a monster on almost all fronts that it simply cannot be ignored."
