For a balance of performance and portability with a focus on gaming and engineering tasks, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a strong contender. It offers a dedicated Nvidia RTX 3060 GPU and a high refresh rate screen, which is ideal for fast-paced gaming and intensive graphics work. However, it's slightly bulkier and heavier than the Samsung, with a shorter battery life. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge 16 boasts an OLED display with superior color accuracy and higher resolution, making it exceptional for visual tasks and media consumption. Its Qualcomm Snapdragon processor provides good general performance while being energy-efficient, contributing to longer battery life. The Samsung is also more portable, thinner, and lighter, with a sleek 2-in-1 design that offers versatility for those who need a tablet function. Consider the Lenovo for its robust gaming and engineering capabilities, especially if you prioritize dedicated graphics power and a higher refresh rate display. Choose the Samsung for its outstanding screen quality, portability, and battery life, which are ideal for general use and content consumption on the go. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Benjamin Herzig | November 2022
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a slim Legion notebook that is just as excellent with Nvidia & Intel. However, the Legion Slim 7i slightly sullied by lacklustre battery life. You get a slim aluminium chassis, great input devices, decent port selection, fast high-quality WQXGA display and great performance. Supporting Thunderbolt 4 is one advantage of the Intel/Nvidia model tested in this review. Moreover, this variant has slightly higher CPU performance as well as better GPU performance in certain applications (e.g. CUDA-based apps). The Lenovo Legion S7i is thin, premium and performant – but less efficient than its AMD counterpart."
