If you prioritize performance for tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, or gaming, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 with its powerful processor and dedicated graphics card is the better option. However, it is heavier and less portable than the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 3, which offers a smaller, touchscreen display and is lighter, making it ideal for on-the-go usage and general tasks but not suited for heavy-duty applications. The Lenovo also comes at a higher price point due to its advanced capabilities, while the Surface Laptop Go 3 is more budget-friendly. Give Feedback

The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15.6" and Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 3 are both good for general use, though the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15.6" is somewhat better.
The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 offers superior performance with its more powerful CPU and more RAM, better screen quality with a higher refresh rate, and a larger screen size, which can enhance productivity and entertainment experiences but makes it less portable and heavier than the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 3. The Surface Laptop Go 3, while having less RAM and a less powerful CPU, boasts better portability due to its smaller size and lighter weight, good battery life for everyday tasks, and a high-quality keyboard, making it suitable for on-the-go users who prioritize convenience over raw performance.

The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 has a better screen than the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 3 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 and the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 3 both have screens that present clear and vibrant visuals for general computing tasks due to their decent resolution, panel technology, and brightness levels. For engineering and design work, their color accuracy and broad color gamuts ensure precise color reproduction, vital for detail-oriented projects. However, for gaming and 3D applications, their lower refresh rates limit the smoothness and responsiveness that's crucial for high-speed content, making them less suitable for those scenarios.

How the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15.6" and the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 3 compare to other laptops
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a slim Legion notebook that is just as excellent with Nvidia & Intel. However, the Legion Slim 7i slightly sullied by lacklustre battery life. You get a slim aluminium chassis, great input devices, decent port selection, fast high-quality WQXGA display and great performance. Supporting Thunderbolt 4 is one advantage of the Intel/Nvidia model tested in this review. Moreover, this variant has slightly higher CPU performance as well as better GPU performance in certain applications (e.g. CUDA-based apps). The Lenovo Legion S7i is thin, premium and performant – but less efficient than its AMD counterpart."
"When it comes to affordably priced laptops, the numbers after the dollar sign are crucially important—more so than in any other price category. By increasing the starting price of its Laptop Go line by $200 and not changing much else, Microsoft irrevocably altered the calculus surrounding the decision of whether to buy the Surface Laptop Go 3. Sure, it has a newer processor and longer battery life, but don’t think for a second you’re not paying dearly for that extra RAM and SSD capacity at that new price."
