For a balance of performance and portability with a focus on gaming and engineering tasks, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a strong contender, offering a robust AMD Ryzen 7 processor and Nvidia RTX 3060 graphics within a slim design. It's also more budget-friendly and has a longer battery life, making it suitable for extended use on the go. However, its screen lacks touch capability and has lower color accuracy, which might not be ideal for professional photo editing.
On the other hand, the Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i is a premium choice with a high-resolution Mini LED touchscreen that boasts exceptional color reproduction and brightness, catering to professionals who demand top-tier display quality for tasks like photo editing or content creation. It's equipped with the latest Intel Core Ultra 7 processor and Nvidia RTX 4050 graphics, ensuring high performance across a variety of applications, though it's pricier and has a shorter battery life compared to the Legion. Its 16:10 aspect ratio also provides more vertical screen space, which is beneficial for productivity.
Consider the Legion if you prioritize gaming and engineering performance with longer battery life at a lower price point. Opt for the Yoga Pro 9i if you need superior display quality, touchscreen functionality, and are willing to pay more for the latest hardware and a more versatile usage experience. Give Feedback

How the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15.6" and the Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i compare to other laptops
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a slim Legion notebook that is just as excellent with Nvidia & Intel. However, the Legion Slim 7i slightly sullied by lacklustre battery life. You get a slim aluminium chassis, great input devices, decent port selection, fast high-quality WQXGA display and great performance. Supporting Thunderbolt 4 is one advantage of the Intel/Nvidia model tested in this review. Moreover, this variant has slightly higher CPU performance as well as better GPU performance in certain applications (e.g. CUDA-based apps). The Lenovo Legion S7i is thin, premium and performant – but less efficient than its AMD counterpart."
