If performance during intensive engineering tasks and gaming is crucial for you, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 with its powerful processor and dedicated gaming graphics card will excel, though it's heavier and pricier. However, if general use, portability, and a higher resolution touchscreen are priorities, then the more affordable and lightweight Lenovo Yoga 6 will be suitable. The Yoga 6 also has a longer battery life which could be beneficial for on-the-go use, while the Legion Slim 7 offers higher performance at the cost of shorter battery life and increased weight. How the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15.6" and the Lenovo Yoga 6 compare to other laptops
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a slim Legion notebook that is just as excellent with Nvidia & Intel. However, the Legion Slim 7i slightly sullied by lacklustre battery life. You get a slim aluminium chassis, great input devices, decent port selection, fast high-quality WQXGA display and great performance. Supporting Thunderbolt 4 is one advantage of the Intel/Nvidia model tested in this review. Moreover, this variant has slightly higher CPU performance as well as better GPU performance in certain applications (e.g. CUDA-based apps). The Lenovo Legion S7i is thin, premium and performant – but less efficient than its AMD counterpart."
"The AMD R7-7730U in the Lenovo Yoga 6 13 provides a suitable answer to the limited cooling capabilities of a convertible - especially in tablet mode. It draws high computing power from a comparatively limited power supply so that less heat has to be dissipated at the same time."
