If you prioritize a larger screen, better suited for gaming and intense graphical tasks but can accept heavier weight and shorter battery life, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 could be a good choice. On the other hand, the Lenovo Slim Pro 9i, while more portable and offering a higher resolution touch screen with improved color accuracy, may be better for creative professionals and is generally more expensive. Consider the Pro 9i if you need top-notch display quality and don't mind a smaller screen, or the Legion Slim 7 if gaming performance and screen size are more important for you. Give Feedback

The Lenovo Slim Pro 9i is very good for engineering and design, while the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15.6" is good.
The Lenovo Slim Pro 9i excels in engineering and design due to its superior CPU and double the RAM, which contribute to faster processing and multitasking, as well as a high-quality Mini LED screen with higher resolution and color accuracy for precise visual work. While the Lenovo Legion Slim 7's AMD processor and RTX 3060 GPU are very capable, they fall short of the Slim Pro 9i's more advanced CPU and GPU, and its IPS screen, though adequate, does not match the Pro 9i's screen quality; this along with lower RAM and a lower resolution display makes it good rather than excellent for such tasks.

The Lenovo Slim Pro 9i has a better screen than the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use and engineering tasks, the Lenovo Slim Pro 9i stands out with its higher resolution and brighter display, which also covers a wider range of colors, providing a more vivid and accurate visual experience. The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 doesn't perform as well in gaming and 3D because its refresh rate is lower, which is less ideal for the fast-paced visuals in games. The choice between the two depends on if you prioritize a top-tier display for productivity and design or a smoother visual experience for gaming.

How the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15.6" and the Lenovo Slim Pro 9i compare to other laptops
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a slim Legion notebook that is just as excellent with Nvidia & Intel. However, the Legion Slim 7i slightly sullied by lacklustre battery life. You get a slim aluminium chassis, great input devices, decent port selection, fast high-quality WQXGA display and great performance. Supporting Thunderbolt 4 is one advantage of the Intel/Nvidia model tested in this review. Moreover, this variant has slightly higher CPU performance as well as better GPU performance in certain applications (e.g. CUDA-based apps). The Lenovo Legion S7i is thin, premium and performant – but less efficient than its AMD counterpart."
"The Lenovo Slim Pro 9i is an impressive laptop with a brilliant Mini-LED display, a powerful 100-watt version of Nvidia RTX 4050 graphics, and excellent connectivity. Having run the Cinebench benchmark again, we were impressed with the CPU performance. That makes the Slim Pro 9i is an easy recommendation, especially for those who care about GPU and CPU performance. It’s also a fantastic choice if you frequently view HDR movies and games on your laptop."
