The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is better for intensive tasks and gaming, thanks to its higher-end graphics card, but it is more expensive and offers a lower resolution, non-touchscreen display. Conversely, the Lenovo Slim 7 16 is generally less expensive, has a higher-resolution touchscreen display with a taller aspect ratio, and it comes with a slightly better processor. Although it has a less powerful graphics card, it still provides respectable performance for general use and is perhaps slightly better for productivity tasks due to its screen and touch capability. The Slim 7 16 also boasts a slightly larger battery and may have a slight edge in portability due to lower weight. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Benjamin Herzig | November 2022
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a slim Legion notebook that is just as excellent with Nvidia & Intel. However, the Legion Slim 7i slightly sullied by lacklustre battery life. You get a slim aluminium chassis, great input devices, decent port selection, fast high-quality WQXGA display and great performance. Supporting Thunderbolt 4 is one advantage of the Intel/Nvidia model tested in this review. Moreover, this variant has slightly higher CPU performance as well as better GPU performance in certain applications (e.g. CUDA-based apps). The Lenovo Legion S7i is thin, premium and performant – but less efficient than its AMD counterpart."

PCMag

Eric Grevstad | March 2022
"At $1,011, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7 Pro is a real bargain among full-sized laptops, with a handsome 16-inch, 16:10 aspect ratio touch screen, a speedy CPU, a comfortable keyboard, ample memory, and a roomy solid-state drive. It's not a blazing gaming rig or mobile workstation, but it doesn't pretend to be. Its biggest negative is that it may be hard to find—during our review, it sold out and was marked "Temporarily Unavailable" on Lenovo's site."
