The Lenovo Legion Pro 7i (2024) is a top-tier choice for those who prioritize performance and are willing to compromise on portability due to its higher weight and price. It excels in intensive tasks such as gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning, thanks to its powerful i9 processor and RTX 4080 graphics card. The high-resolution 16-inch display with a 240Hz refresh rate is ideal for fast-motion content and engineering tasks, offering superior color accuracy and brightness. It also provides a premium user experience with a backlit keyboard, fingerprint reader, and robust build quality. However, its battery life is relatively short, and it's heavier, making it less suitable for frequent travelers. On the other hand, the MSI GF65 Thin is a more affordable and portable option, suitable for general use and some gaming. It has a decent i5 processor and RTX 3060 graphics, which will handle most tasks well, but it won't match the Legion Pro 7i's performance in demanding applications. The 15.6-inch Full HD display with a 144Hz refresh rate is good for everyday use, though it falls short in color accuracy and brightness compared to the Legion. Its lighter weight and longer battery life make it a better companion for those who are always on the move. However, it lacks advanced features like a fingerprint reader and hardware ray tracing, and its build quality isn't as premium. In summary, if you need a high-performance machine for demanding tasks and can manage the higher cost and weight, the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i (2024) is the way to go. If you're looking for a more balanced and portable laptop for general use with some gaming capabilities, the MSI GF65 Thin is a solid choice. Give Feedback

"Passionate gamers who want to play demanding modern titles with maximum details and don't mind spending the moolah will find the Lenovo Legion 7 Pro to be the right choice. The bright, sharp, and color-accurate 16:10 QHD 240 Hz display makes for an immersive viewing experience. The hardware is housed in a stylish chassis that feels premium and scores well in terms of workmanship and stability. Other aspects such as sound quality, input devices, and connectivity also seem to be near-perfect."

NotebookCheck

Allen Ngo | March 2021
"The MSI GF65 Thin offers a GeForce RTX 3060 on a budget. The MSI GF65 is a relatively inexpensive RTX 3060 laptop and, perhaps not coincidentally, it also comes with a slower-than-average RTX 3060 GPU. Other laptops we've tested thus far with the same GPU are about 10 to 15 percent faster. CPU performance is also slightly slower than average unless if users decide to enable Cooler Boost mode. Colors, black-white response times, Thunderbolt, and DisplayPort are either average or completely omitted. Gamers who want to maximize performance-per-dollar without sacrificing RAM or SSD upgradeability will find the lightweight MSI GF65 attractive."
