Since the Lenovo Legion 9i is typically more expensive than the Lenovo Legion Slim 7, consider that the higher cost may be due to better performance for intensive tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, or gaming. However, the Slim 7's lower price might indicate that it's lighter and more portable, making it ideal for daily use and carrying around. If portability and budget are your top priorities, the Slim 7 could be the better choice. On the other hand, if your Primary focus is on high-demand tasks and you are less concerned about portability and budget, the Legion 9i would be the more suitable option. Give Feedback

PCMag

Matthew Buzzi | December 2023
"The Lenovo Legion 9i is meant as a top-end flagship showcase for enthusiasts, and on that, it delivers. You'll find flashier designs in this price tier—Razer’s all-metal build in a similarly sized laptop like the Blade 16, or monstrous 18-inch machines—but this is a well-thought-out laptop. The chassis is trim for a 16-inch powerhouse, the lid is unique, and bespoke liquid cooling takes performance to the next level."

NotebookCheck

Benjamin Herzig | November 2022
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a slim Legion notebook that is just as excellent with Nvidia & Intel. However, the Legion Slim 7i slightly sullied by lacklustre battery life. You get a slim aluminium chassis, great input devices, decent port selection, fast high-quality WQXGA display and great performance. Supporting Thunderbolt 4 is one advantage of the Intel/Nvidia model tested in this review. Moreover, this variant has slightly higher CPU performance as well as better GPU performance in certain applications (e.g. CUDA-based apps). The Lenovo Legion S7i is thin, premium and performant – but less efficient than its AMD counterpart."
