The Lenovo Legion 7 offers excellent performance for intensive gaming and engineering thanks to its powerful graphics card and processor but is less portable and has shorter battery life which could be a drawback for those who need mobility. On the other hand, the Lenovo Slim 7 16, while less powerful in graphics, is much more portable, has longer battery life, and is more economically priced, making it suitable for general use and on-the-go productivity tasks, as well as some lighter 3D and engineering workloads. Choose the Legion 7 for top-notch performance in demanding applications or choose the Slim 7 16 for better portability and value if intense gaming or engineering tasks are not a priority. NotebookCheck

Andreas Osthoff | September 2022
"The Lenovo Legion 7 is a fast 16-inch gamer with 165 Hz display. The new Lenovo Legion 7 is a very good gaming notebook that, despite its comparatively compact compact 16-inch case, does not have to do without the most powerful components. Thanks to good cooling, no compromises are made in terms of performance. Both the Core i9-12900HX and the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti perform at a very high level."

PCMag

Eric Grevstad | March 2022
"At $1,011, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7 Pro is a real bargain among full-sized laptops, with a handsome 16-inch, 16:10 aspect ratio touch screen, a speedy CPU, a comfortable keyboard, ample memory, and a roomy solid-state drive. It's not a blazing gaming rig or mobile workstation, but it doesn't pretend to be. Its biggest negative is that it may be hard to find—during our review, it sold out and was marked "Temporarily Unavailable" on Lenovo's site."
