If you prioritize gaming or high-performance tasks like video editing, the Lenovo Legion 5 with its larger screen and dedicated graphics may serve you better, albeit with less portability and a heavier build. On the other hand, if you value a compact and lightweight laptop for general use and greater mobility, the Lenovo ThinkBook 13x offers a sleeker design and is easier to carry around, although it may not handle demanding tasks as smoothly as the Legion due to its smaller size and potentially less powerful internals. Consider where and how you'll use the laptop most when making your decision. Give Feedback

The Lenovo Legion 5 15" is good for gaming and AI, while the Lenovo ThinkBook 13x is only fair.
The Lenovo Legion 5 is equipped with a more powerful GPU and a higher screen refresh rate, making it well-suited for gaming and 3D applications which demand fast and smooth graphics rendering. While the Lenovo ThinkBook 13x also has a capable GPU and satisfactory screen quality, its lower refresh rate and less powerful CPU make it less optimal for the performance requirements of advanced gaming and 3D tasks.

For general use, both the Lenovo Legion 5 and the ThinkBook 13x offer screens with good resolution and brightness, providing a clear and vibrant display for everyday tasks such as browsing and office work. When it comes to engineering and design, the ThinkBook 13x excels with higher color accuracy and a broader color gamut, which ensures that professionals in these fields see precise colors for their projects. However, for gaming and 3D applications where smooth motion is key, the Lenovo Legion 5 falls short due to a lower refresh rate, making it less suitable for fast-paced visuals compared to laptops with higher refresh rates.

The Lenovo Legion 5 15" excels in engineering and design tasks due to its powerful CPU, high-capacity RAM, and dedicated GPU, which together enable smooth handling of demanding software, while its high-quality screen ensures crisp visuals. How the Lenovo Legion 5 15" and the Lenovo ThinkBook 13x compare to other laptops
"The Lenovo Legion 5 15 is an affordable gaming laptop with a lot of power. The new AMD processor Ryzen 7 5800H offers plenty of performance and it is also very efficient. The combination with the fast 130W version of the GeForce RTX 3060 ensures high gaming performance. We also like the fast 165 Hz display with the 1080p resolution. The automatic graphics switching causes some problems with stutters, which are very annoying. If you do not need long battery runtimes, you should definitely deactivate the hybrid graphics mode in Lenovo's Vantage app. The Legion 5 15 is never silent."
