If budget is a primary concern and you're looking for a laptop that provides solid performance for everyday tasks and moderate gaming, the Lenovo Legion 5 15" is a practical choice. The lower price point often means you might forgo some premium features and have slightly less robust specs than the Razer Blade 18. On the other hand, if you require top-tier performance for intensive gaming, 3D rendering, or machine learning tasks, and you value a premium build quality, the Razer Blade 18 is the better option, albeit at a higher cost. The Razer will also typically offer a more portable design, but this can result in shorter battery life compared to the Lenovo. Remember to consider how you plan to use the laptop and whether the added investment aligns with your performance needs and lifestyle. Give Feedback

The Razer Blade 18 is very good for general use, while the Lenovo Legion 5 15" is good.
The Lenovo Legion 5 15" offers satisfactory all-around capabilities with a solid CPU, ample RAM, and a quality screen but has average battery life and portability, making it a good fit for general use. In contrast, the Razer Blade 18 leads with a more powerful CPU, double the RAM, a larger and brighter display with higher color accuracy, and superior keyboard and speaker quality, while also excelling in heat management and operating noise, but this comes at the expense of greater weight and similar battery life, justifying its classification as very good for general use.

The Lenovo Legion 5 15" is a good fit for engineering and design with its capable AMD Ryzen processor, Nvidia RTX GPU, and high-resolution IPS screen, yet it is more on the heavier side and might not match the Razer Blade 18, which boasts a more powerful Intel i9 processor, superior RTX GPU, and a brighter, larger screen with higher color accuracy, making it excellent for demanding design tasks, but at the expense of being less portable and having a higher price.

The Razer Blade 18 has a better screen than the Lenovo Legion 5 15" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, the Lenovo Legion 5 15" offers adequate resolution and brightness, making it suitable for everyday tasks, but its panel type may not be the most vibrant. The Razer Blade 18 boasts a high-quality display with sharp resolution and brightness, providing an excellent visual experience for both daily activities and precise engineering work, due to its wider color gamuts ensuring accurate color reproduction. However, for gaming and 3D, the displays on both laptops fall short as they lack the high refresh rates required for smooth motion rendering, even though they have decent resolution and panel types.

"The Lenovo Legion 5 15 is an affordable gaming laptop with a lot of power. The new AMD processor Ryzen 7 5800H offers plenty of performance and it is also very efficient. The combination with the fast 130W version of the GeForce RTX 3060 ensures high gaming performance. We also like the fast 165 Hz display with the 1080p resolution. The automatic graphics switching causes some problems with stutters, which are very annoying. If you do not need long battery runtimes, you should definitely deactivate the hybrid graphics mode in Lenovo's Vantage app. The Legion 5 15 is never silent."
"Razer made a powerful laptop in the Blade 18, showing off a beautiful and fast display and the same high-quality build we’ve come to expect from this product line. It’s also quite expensive, which is hardly a surprise, but bears repeating even in this price range. It’s pricier than the Scar 18 despite an inferior GPU and half the storage, so you really have to want the Blade 18’s design to justify the cost."
