The Lenovo Legion 5 offers a more affordable option without sacrificing too much performance, suitable for general use and gaming. However, the Razer Blade 14, while more expensive, provides a more portable design, better build quality, and is likely to deliver slightly better performance, which can be important for intensive tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, and gaming at higher settings. You'll also get a higher resolution, more compact display which could be better for productivity and entertainment. The decision ultimately hinges on your budget, the importance of portability, and whether the performance edge of the Razer Blade aligns with your needs. Give Feedback

The Razer Blade 14 has a better screen than the Lenovo Legion 5 15" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Lenovo Legion 5 15" likely has a high-resolution display with good brightness and perhaps an IPS panel, which ensures crisp images and wide viewing angles for everyday tasks, but its lower refresh rate makes it less suitable for gaming where smoother motion is crucial. The Razer Blade 14's high-resolution, bright display, alongside wide color gamut coverage, offers sharp visuals and accurate colors necessary for precision in engineering and design work. However, for gaming and 3D applications, both laptops fall short as their screens don't refresh as quickly, making fast-paced scenes appear less smooth compared to laptops with high-refresh-rate screens.

How the Lenovo Legion 5 15" and the Razer Blade 14 (2023) compare to other laptops
"The Lenovo Legion 5 15 is an affordable gaming laptop with a lot of power. The new AMD processor Ryzen 7 5800H offers plenty of performance and it is also very efficient. The combination with the fast 130W version of the GeForce RTX 3060 ensures high gaming performance. We also like the fast 165 Hz display with the 1080p resolution. The automatic graphics switching causes some problems with stutters, which are very annoying. If you do not need long battery runtimes, you should definitely deactivate the hybrid graphics mode in Lenovo's Vantage app. The Legion 5 15 is never silent."
"After making a huge splash with the original 2021 model, it's expected that the 2022 refresh would be more of a minor update to an already impressive machine. It adds a higher resolution webcam (720p to 1080p), faster CPU (Ryzen 9 5900HX to Ryzen 9 6900HX), faster GPU (RTX 3070/3080 to 3070/3080 Ti), faster RAM (DDR4-3200 to DDR5-4800), faster M.2 SSD support (PCIe3 x4 to PCIe4 x4), newer WLAN module (Killer AX1690i to Qualcomm WCN685x), and a MUX switch for the new integrated Radeon 680M GPU. It's indubitably an upgrade especially in terms of single-thread processor performance."
