To decide between the Lenovo Legion 5 15" and the MSI Raider GE76, consider how you prioritize performance, cost, and portability. The Lenovo Legion 5 usually costs less and may offer good performance for general tasks and gaming. However, the MSI Raider GE76, while more expensive, typically provides higher performance suitable for demanding games, 3D rendering, and machine learning tasks. It also usually has a more robust cooling system, which is beneficial for long gaming or work sessions. If battery life and easy carrying are essential for you, the lighter and possibly more battery-efficient Lenovo may be preferable. But if you require top performance for complex tasks and are okay with a bulkier machine and higher price, the MSI might be the better choice. Give Feedback

The MSI Raider GE76 has a better screen than the Lenovo Legion 5 15" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, both the Lenovo Legion 5 and the MSI Raider GE76 have panels with resolution and brightness that offer clear, vivid images, which enhance everyday tasks like web browsing and watching videos. In engineering and design, color accuracy is crucial, and the MSI Raider GE76 stands out with a wider color gamut, providing more precise color representation for professional work such as photo editing and CAD software. However, for gaming and 3D applications, a high refresh rate is key for smooth motion, and the poor screen quality in this regard for both laptops indicates they may not provide the best experience for fast-paced gaming or intensive 3D rendering.

"The Lenovo Legion 5 15 is an affordable gaming laptop with a lot of power. The new AMD processor Ryzen 7 5800H offers plenty of performance and it is also very efficient. The combination with the fast 130W version of the GeForce RTX 3060 ensures high gaming performance. We also like the fast 165 Hz display with the 1080p resolution. The automatic graphics switching causes some problems with stutters, which are very annoying. If you do not need long battery runtimes, you should definitely deactivate the hybrid graphics mode in Lenovo's Vantage app. The Legion 5 15 is never silent."
"The MSI Raider GE76: with Alder Lake and RTX 3080 Ti to gaming heaven. Yes, MSI could improve some aspects (like the quality of the webcam), but the manufacturer offers a very convincing and balanced overall package. The biggest advantage is definitely the immense performance potential. The combination of Core i9-12900HK, GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, 32 GB DDR5 RAM and two NVMe SSDs offers a lot of performance for the next couple of years and plenty of power for 3D applications. Most titles would run smoothly on an external 4K screen no matter the quality preset. We came away impressed with the integrated 360 Hz panel's fast response times and good color accuracy."
