If you value performance for tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, or gaming, the Lenovo Legion 5 with its advanced processor and dedicated graphics card surpasses the Maypug 15" Laptop, but it's heavier and bulkier, which impacts portability. For general use like web browsing, office applications, and media playback, the Maypug should suffice and it's lighter, making it easier to carry around. The Lenovo also features a higher resolution screen which is better for detail-oriented work, but this comes at the cost of reduced battery life compared to the Maypug. Essentially, if performance and a high-quality display are pivotal and the added expense is justifiable, go for the Lenovo Legion 5, otherwise, for basic tasks and better portability at a lower price, the Maypug 15" Laptop is adequate. The Lenovo Legion 5 15" is good for general use, while the Maypug 15" Laptop is poor.
The Lenovo Legion 5 boasts a stronger CPU and more RAM, leading to smoother performance for a variety of tasks, but is less portable due to its heavier weight and shorter battery life. In contrast, the Maypug 15" Laptop, with its lower-end CPU and half the RAM, is ill-suited for demanding activities; however, it offers better portability with lighter weight and extended battery life.

The Lenovo Legion 5 15" is very good for engineering and design, while the Maypug 15" Laptop is poor.
The Lenovo Legion 5, with its advanced AMD processor, dedicated Nvidia graphics, and high-resolution screen, is well-suited for demanding engineering tasks, while the Maypug Laptop's basic Intel Celeron CPU, integrated graphics, and lower resolution display make it less capable for such intensive applications. Additionally, the Legion's ample memory aids in multitasking and running complex software which is constrained by the Maypug's limited RAM.

The Lenovo Legion 5 15" has a better screen than the Maypug 15" Laptop for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
For general use, the Lenovo Legion 5 excels with a sharper display and higher brightness, making texts and images clearer and more vibrant, while the Maypug’s dimmer and less crisp screen falls short. In engineering and design, the Legion's wider color gamut presents more accurate colors, necessary for detailed work, an area where the Maypug's limited color range can be a drawback. For 3D and gaming, the Legion's lower refresh rate makes it less suited for fast-paced visuals compared to laptops with higher refresh rates, despite having a better resolution and panel type than the Maypug, which underperforms across these areas.

"The Lenovo Legion 5 15 is an affordable gaming laptop with a lot of power. The new AMD processor Ryzen 7 5800H offers plenty of performance and it is also very efficient. The combination with the fast 130W version of the GeForce RTX 3060 ensures high gaming performance. We also like the fast 165 Hz display with the 1080p resolution. The automatic graphics switching causes some problems with stutters, which are very annoying. If you do not need long battery runtimes, you should definitely deactivate the hybrid graphics mode in Lenovo's Vantage app. The Legion 5 15 is never silent."
