The Lenovo Legion 5 15" offers better performance, suitable for intensive tasks like gaming, 3D rendering, or machine learning, thanks to a more powerful processor and dedicated graphics card. However, the LG Ultra 13, while less expensive and with lower performance capabilities, boosts greater portability due to its smaller size and lighter weight. Additionally, the LG Ultra's battery life is likely to be longer, making it a good choice for general use like browsing, office tasks, or media consumption on the go. Decide based on whether performance or portability and cost are your priority. Give Feedback

The Lenovo Legion 5 15" is very good for engineering and design, while the LG Ultra 13 is only fair.
The Lenovo Legion 5 15" outshines the LG Ultra 13 for engineering and design due to its superior processing power with an AMD Ryzen 7 and Nvidia RTX GPU, which is essential for computational-heavy tasks, and its high-quality, larger screen which is beneficial for detailing work. Meanwhile, the LG Ultra 13, with an integrated AMD GPU and a smaller less detailed screen, is less adept for demanding engineering software but offers greater portability and quieter operation, making it suitable for less intensive tasks and on-the-go usage.

The Lenovo Legion 5 15" has a better screen than the LG Ultra 13 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
If you prioritize a vivid and clear display for tasks like browsing and streaming, the Lenovo Legion 5 and the LG Ultra may both offer high resolution and brightness, but their panel types are crucial for general use, affecting viewing angles and color reproduction. For engineering and design, the color accuracy and range are important; if the LG Ultra has better coverage of the DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB spectrums, it may be the preferred choice for professionals in those fields. However, for gaming or 3D work, the refresh rate is key for smooth visuals; since both have poorer refresh rates, they may not deliver the best experience in these scenarios.

How the Lenovo Legion 5 15" and the LG Ultra 13 compare to other laptops
"The Lenovo Legion 5 15 is an affordable gaming laptop with a lot of power. The new AMD processor Ryzen 7 5800H offers plenty of performance and it is also very efficient. The combination with the fast 130W version of the GeForce RTX 3060 ensures high gaming performance. We also like the fast 165 Hz display with the 1080p resolution. The automatic graphics switching causes some problems with stutters, which are very annoying. If you do not need long battery runtimes, you should definitely deactivate the hybrid graphics mode in Lenovo's Vantage app. The Legion 5 15 is never silent."
"The 13.3-inch LG Gram is a fine fit if you need to travel as light as possible for as long as possible without spending a fortune to do it. It might not be particularly sturdy or have an eye-catching design and its webcam is less than ideal, but with its sharp touch display, comfortable backlit keyboard, responsive touchpad and a fingerprint reader for extra security, the Gram makes a respectible everyday laptop for business or school work."
