If you require a laptop for gaming or engineering software, the Legion 5 with its dedicated Nvidia graphics card will provide superior performance compared to the Yoga 6. However, the Yoga 6 is more portable due to its smaller size and lighter weight, which might appeal to you if you need to carry your laptop often. It also features a convertible design allowing usage as a tablet. In terms of battery life, the Yoga 6 tends to last longer, making it suitable for general use without frequent recharging. Choose the Legion 5 for performance-intensive tasks and the Yoga 6 for portability and versatility. Give Feedback

The Lenovo Legion 5 15" is good for gaming and AI, while the Lenovo Yoga 6 is only fair.
The Lenovo Legion 5 15" is equipped with a high-performance Nvidia RTX 4060 GPU and a 165Hz screen refresh rate, which are both very important for smooth and detailed gaming and 3D experiences. On the other hand, the Lenovo Yoga 6 uses an integrated AMD Ryzen 7 7730U Vega 8 GPU with a standard 60Hz screen refresh rate, resulting in a fair gaming and 3D capability due to less graphical processing power and lower screen fluidity.

The Lenovo Legion 5 15" is very good for engineering and design, while the Lenovo Yoga 6 is good.
The Lenovo Legion 5 15" is very good for engineering and design due to its powerful CPU and GPU, ample RAM, and high-quality, high-resolution screen, making it well-equipped for intensive tasks; however, it is less portable and has a higher operating noise.

The Lenovo Legion 5 15" has a better screen than the Lenovo Yoga 6 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
The Lenovo Legion 5 15" likely has a high-resolution display with excellent brightness and color accuracy, making it great for general use and precise enough for engineering tasks, but its lower refresh rate hampers its performance for fast-paced gaming scenarios. On the other hand, the Lenovo Yoga 6, while portable and versatile, may not offer the same level of brightness or resolution, which is why it's just adequate for general activities but maintains sufficient color coverage for engineering and design; however, similar to the Legion, it falls short for gaming due to a lower refresh rate. It's important to choose based on whether you prioritize day-to-day work and professional tasks, or if gaming capabilities are a critical requirement for your laptop experience.

The Lenovo Yoga 6 has very good portability, while the Lenovo Legion 5 15" has only fair portability.
The most portable laptops are small, thin, and light.
The Lenovo Yoga 6 and Lenovo Legion 5 15" are both good for general use.
The Lenovo Legion 5 15" offers a higher performance CPU and GPU suitable for more demanding tasks and is equipped with a better keyboard, but is heavier and has shorter battery life, making it less portable than the Lenovo Yoga 6, which has a less powerful integrated GPU but offers a more portable design with longer battery life and a touchscreen, making it better for on-the-go use and versatile interactions. While both laptops come with high-quality displays and sufficient RAM for general tasks, the Yoga 6's smaller form factor and 2-in-1 convertible design with higher screen portability and longer battery endurance may appeal to those who value mobility and versatility, whereas the Legion 5 pitches itself toward users who may need more processing power for intensive activities and appreciate a higher-quality keyboard and screen for gaming or creative work, at the expense of some portability and battery life.

How the Lenovo Legion 5 15" and the Lenovo Yoga 6 compare to other laptops
"The Lenovo Legion 5 15 is an affordable gaming laptop with a lot of power. The new AMD processor Ryzen 7 5800H offers plenty of performance and it is also very efficient. The combination with the fast 130W version of the GeForce RTX 3060 ensures high gaming performance. We also like the fast 165 Hz display with the 1080p resolution. The automatic graphics switching causes some problems with stutters, which are very annoying. If you do not need long battery runtimes, you should definitely deactivate the hybrid graphics mode in Lenovo's Vantage app. The Legion 5 15 is never silent."
"The AMD R7-7730U in the Lenovo Yoga 6 13 provides a suitable answer to the limited cooling capabilities of a convertible - especially in tablet mode. It draws high computing power from a comparatively limited power supply so that less heat has to be dissipated at the same time."
