For a balance of performance and value, the Lenovo Legion 5 17" is a solid choice, offering a robust Intel i7 processor and Nvidia RTX 3060 graphics within a midrange price point. It's well-suited for gaming and general use, with a large 17.3-inch screen that's great for immersive experiences. However, its portability is compromised due to its size and weight, and the battery life is modest. On the other hand, the MSI Creator 16 AI Studio is a premium machine designed for high-end creative work, featuring a stunning 4K Mini LED display with touch capability and exceptional color accuracy, making it ideal for tasks that demand color fidelity. The powerful Intel Core Ultra 9 and Nvidia RTX 4080 graphics provide top-tier performance for 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering tasks. It's also more compact and has a longer battery life, but this comes at a significantly higher price. If you prioritize portability, battery life, and superior display quality for professional creative work, and budget isn't a major concern, the MSI Creator 16 AI Studio is the way to go. However, if you're looking for a capable gaming and all-purpose laptop that offers good performance without breaking the bank, the Lenovo Legion 5 17" is the better option. Give Feedback

Sebastian Bade | February 2022
"The Lenovo Legion 5 17 is a current-gen 17-inch gaming laptop and equipped with the latest AMD CPU and a powerful GPU, that manages to reach its full potential. The AMD Ryzen 5 5600H is a very good choice for this laptop and able to maintain its performance level for long periods of time. Our test model only falls behind consistently in a direct comparison with its competitors that are often equipped with eight cores and 16 threads. Despite this, the Legion 5 17 leaves an excellent impression and is almost able to keep up with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 mobile GPU in synthetic benchmarks."
