If you're interested in gaming or handling graphics-intensive tasks, the Lenovo Legion 5 17" with its larger screen and likely better graphics capabilities would serve you well, but it will be heavier and less portable than the compact ThinkPad X13 which is designed for business use with greater emphasis on portability and battery life. The ThinkPad X13, while more convenient to carry, may not perform as well for demanding software compared to the Legion, which is built to handle more powerful applications and games. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Sebastian Bade | February 2022
"The Lenovo Legion 5 17 is a current-gen 17-inch gaming laptop and equipped with the latest AMD CPU and a powerful GPU, that manages to reach its full potential. The AMD Ryzen 5 5600H is a very good choice for this laptop and able to maintain its performance level for long periods of time. Our test model only falls behind consistently in a direct comparison with its competitors that are often equipped with eight cores and 16 threads. Despite this, the Legion 5 17 leaves an excellent impression and is almost able to keep up with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 mobile GPU in synthetic benchmarks."

NotebookCheck

Benjamin Herzig | September 2023
"The Lenovo ThinkPad X13 G4 has very good input devices, a wide array of security features and ports as well as 5G in the tested configuration. It is more compact and lightweight compared with its predecessor, and it has improved speakers and a slightly better webcam. On the other hand, the fan is more annoying and the performance is barely improved. The battery is worse as well, but this is primarily attributable to the OLED screen - if this aspect is important, buyers should choose the IPS Low Power LCD."
