When choosing between the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro and the MSI Titan 18 HX, consider that the Lenovo is more affordable and portable, making it well-suited for everyday tasks and on-the-go use, whereas the MSI Titan boasts superior performance for gaming, 3D work, and intensive engineering software at the expense of being bulkier and more expensive. The Titan will likely also have a shorter battery life compared to the Lenovo due to its high-performance components, so if long battery life and easy transportation are priorities, the Lenovo may be the better option. NotebookCheck

Allen Ngo | October 2021
"The main selling point of the IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro versus a regular IdeaPad Slim 7 is its faster Core H-series CPU. In reality, the Core i7-11370H is only marginally faster than the U-series Core i7-1165G7 to the point where most users are not likely to notice the benefits. The slight performance uptick comes at the cost of slightly higher power consumption as well meaning owners will have to deal with potentially warmer temperatures or louder fans to compensate. Unless if you happen to be a power user, then the regular non-Pro model will be more than enough. Once you go 90 Hz, you can't go back."

NotebookCheck

Allen Ngo | January 2024
"With no new Nvidia GPU this year for laptops, MSI had to refresh everything surrounding the graphics card to make up for it. Users are getting a new 18-inch chassis design, new 14th gen Intel HX CPU, new AC adapter, larger keys, and a new 120 Hz HDR1000 mini-LED 4K display to accompany the high price tag. Most of these changes are a step up from last year's GT77, but users are ultimately getting the same gaming performance out of both models."
