The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro offers stronger performance for 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering tasks compared to the Lenovo Yoga 6. However, the Yoga 6 excels in general use and boasts superior battery life, making it a more suitable choice for everyday activities and prolonged use away from power outlets. Both have touchscreens and similar portability, but the Slim 7i Pro features a higher resolution and refresh rate display, which means sharper images and smoother visuals. Consider the IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro if your work is graphically intensive and you benefit from a better screen. Otherwise, for general use and longer unplugged time, the Yoga 6 may be preferable. The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro has a better screen than the Lenovo Yoga 6 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro's superior screen resolution and brightness make it ideal for vibrant and clear visuals needed in general use, while its wide color gamut facilitates accurate color representation crucial for engineering and design tasks. The Lenovo Yoga 6's decent resolution satisfies general tasks and its adequate color range is suitable for less demanding design work, but neither of the screens are optimized for 3D and gaming due to lower refresh rates, which are essential for smooth motion and fast response times. Both laptops, while capable in their own rights, fall short for gaming enthusiasts due to this limitation.

The Lenovo Yoga 6 and Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro are both good for general use.
The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro, with its high-resolution screen and Intel processor, offers vibrant display and solid performance for general use, but its battery life is shorter compared to the Lenovo Yoga 6, which though having a slightly less bright display and an AMD processor, provides longer battery life and versatility as a 2-in-1 convertible, making it a balance between functionality and mobility. Both laptops come with ample RAM and storage for everyday tasks, quality keyboards and speakers, but the IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro's higher screen refresh rate and pixel density might tip the balance for users prioritizing screen quality over portability and battery duration.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro and Lenovo Yoga 6 are both only fair for gaming and AI.
The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro offers fair gaming and 3D performance with its Intel i5-11300H Iris Xe graphics and a higher screen refresh rate, which is suitable for smoother visual content but is typically outmatched by dedicated gaming GPUs. The Lenovo Yoga 6, with its AMD Ryzen 7 7730U Vega 8 graphics, also provides fair gaming and 3D capabilities but has a lower screen refresh rate, implying less fluid motion compared to higher rates more commonly seen in specialized gaming laptops.

How the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro and the Lenovo Yoga 6 compare to other laptops
"The main selling point of the IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro versus a regular IdeaPad Slim 7 is its faster Core H-series CPU. In reality, the Core i7-11370H is only marginally faster than the U-series Core i7-1165G7 to the point where most users are not likely to notice the benefits. The slight performance uptick comes at the cost of slightly higher power consumption as well meaning owners will have to deal with potentially warmer temperatures or louder fans to compensate. Unless if you happen to be a power user, then the regular non-Pro model will be more than enough. Once you go 90 Hz, you can't go back."
"The AMD R7-7730U in the Lenovo Yoga 6 13 provides a suitable answer to the limited cooling capabilities of a convertible - especially in tablet mode. It draws high computing power from a comparatively limited power supply so that less heat has to be dissipated at the same time."
