Consider the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro if you value a larger, brighter, and higher resolution display with a higher refresh rate for smoother visuals, which is beneficial for general use and some design tasks. It also has better performance for engineering applications, potentially at the expense of higher weight and larger dimensions making it less portable than the ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga. The ThinkPad, on the other hand, is lighter and more portable with a higher build quality and better heat management, but trades off on screen size and battery capacity. It's more expensive but comes with Windows 11 Pro and added business features like facial recognition which can make it a better choice for professionals seeking a premium, versatile machine for on-the-go use. Both laptops have similar storage, RAM, and integrated graphics, making either suitable for general tasks, but you'll need to decide what factors—portability, screen quality, performance, or price—are most critical for your specific needs. The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro has a better screen than the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
For general use, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro's high resolution and bright display provide crisp and clear visuals, making it great for everyday tasks like web browsing and document editing. In engineering and design, its wider color gamut ensures more accurate colors, essential for professionals who require color precision in their work. However, for gaming and 3D applications, the lower refresh rate of both laptops means they're less suitable for fast-paced visuals, where smoother motion is a priority.

How the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro and the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga compare to other laptops
"The main selling point of the IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro versus a regular IdeaPad Slim 7 is its faster Core H-series CPU. In reality, the Core i7-11370H is only marginally faster than the U-series Core i7-1165G7 to the point where most users are not likely to notice the benefits. The slight performance uptick comes at the cost of slightly higher power consumption as well meaning owners will have to deal with potentially warmer temperatures or louder fans to compensate. Unless if you happen to be a power user, then the regular non-Pro model will be more than enough. Once you go 90 Hz, you can't go back."
"The ThinkPad X1 Titanium is a showcase of what Lenovo thinks business computing will look like in the near future. People want thinner, lighter laptops with high-quality screens and enough computing power to get their work done. The X1 Titanium achieves these goals with some controversial but innovative design choices, including a redesigned keyboard and a pared-down port selection."
