The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro tends to be somewhat more expensive but offers higher display resolution, increased brightness, and a higher refresh rate which can make for a sharper and smoother visual experience when working with photos, videos, or detailed documents. It's also lighter and more compact, enhancing its portability. However, the Lenovo Slim 7 16 provides better battery life, a larger screen size for more immersive content viewing, and includes an Nvidia RTX 3050 graphics card which is superior for 3D applications, machine learning, gaming, and engineering software. If you prioritize running intensive applications and longer unplugged usage, the Slim 7 16 is the better choice, while the Slim 7i Pro might suit you better if portability and screen quality for general use are your main considerations. Both have comparable memory and storage capabilities. Give Feedback

The Lenovo Slim 7 16 has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro for general use, gaming and AI, content creation, and software development.
When choosing a laptop for general use, both the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro and Slim 7 16 have high-resolution screens with bright displays, making them excellent for daily tasks and watching media. For engineering and design, these models offer wide color gamuts, ensuring that professionals working with visuals get accurate colors and detail for their projects. However, for gaming and 3D work, the lower refresh rates on these screens can result in less fluid motion, which might detract from the immersive experience, making them less ideal for those specific activities.

How the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro and the Lenovo Slim 7 16 compare to other laptops
"The main selling point of the IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro versus a regular IdeaPad Slim 7 is its faster Core H-series CPU. In reality, the Core i7-11370H is only marginally faster than the U-series Core i7-1165G7 to the point where most users are not likely to notice the benefits. The slight performance uptick comes at the cost of slightly higher power consumption as well meaning owners will have to deal with potentially warmer temperatures or louder fans to compensate. Unless if you happen to be a power user, then the regular non-Pro model will be more than enough. Once you go 90 Hz, you can't go back."
"At $1,011, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7 Pro is a real bargain among full-sized laptops, with a handsome 16-inch, 16:10 aspect ratio touch screen, a speedy CPU, a comfortable keyboard, ample memory, and a roomy solid-state drive. It's not a blazing gaming rig or mobile workstation, but it doesn't pretend to be. Its biggest negative is that it may be hard to find—during our review, it sold out and was marked "Temporarily Unavailable" on Lenovo's site."
