If you value performance for tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, or gaming, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 with its powerful AMD Ryzen processor and Nvidia RTX graphics is the superior option. However, bear in mind that it is heavier and marginally thicker than the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro, making it less ideal for frequent travel. The IdeaPad, with its high-resolution touchscreen and excellent color accuracy, would be more suitable for general use and tasks that benefit from a sharp display and portability. Its performance is ample for most tasks, though it falls short of the Legion for intensive workloads. Both devices offer similar battery life and build quality, but the Legion's gaming-capable hardware also makes it slightly more expensive. Give Feedback

The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15.6" is good for gaming and AI, while the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro is only fair.
The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro, with its integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics, isn't as capable in rendering complex 3D graphics as the Lenovo Legion Slim 7, which is equipped with the Nvidia RTX 3060, a dedicated GPU better suited for high-performance gaming and 3D work. Additionally, the Legion's screen offers a higher refresh rate than the IdeaPad, providing a smoother visual experience during gaming and fast-paced action, which can be crucial for competitive gaming and immersive 3D environments.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro has a better screen than the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 for general use, and engineering and design, while the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 has a better screen for gaming and AI, and software development.
The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro excels in screen quality for general use and engineering due to its high-resolution display and brightness, coupled with wide color gamut coverage that ensures accurate color representation, which is essential for design work. However, its screen falls short for gaming and 3D applications because it lacks a high refresh rate, which is crucial for smooth motion and fast-paced visuals. On the other hand, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 offers adequate screen performance for general use and engineering tasks, but similar to the IdeaPad, its lower refresh rate makes it less suitable for gaming and 3D content where fluid movement and rapid screen updates are key.

How the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro and the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15.6" compare to other laptops
"The main selling point of the IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro versus a regular IdeaPad Slim 7 is its faster Core H-series CPU. In reality, the Core i7-11370H is only marginally faster than the U-series Core i7-1165G7 to the point where most users are not likely to notice the benefits. The slight performance uptick comes at the cost of slightly higher power consumption as well meaning owners will have to deal with potentially warmer temperatures or louder fans to compensate. Unless if you happen to be a power user, then the regular non-Pro model will be more than enough. Once you go 90 Hz, you can't go back."
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a slim Legion notebook that is just as excellent with Nvidia & Intel. However, the Legion Slim 7i slightly sullied by lacklustre battery life. You get a slim aluminium chassis, great input devices, decent port selection, fast high-quality WQXGA display and great performance. Supporting Thunderbolt 4 is one advantage of the Intel/Nvidia model tested in this review. Moreover, this variant has slightly higher CPU performance as well as better GPU performance in certain applications (e.g. CUDA-based apps). The Lenovo Legion S7i is thin, premium and performant – but less efficient than its AMD counterpart."
